I have a 510, pulled the cartridge off and some of the fibers is that the right term?) in the cart were sticking out and got stuck on the steel wick(right term?) in the atomizer, I pulled what I could off with skinny tweezers, it smelled a little funky at first but seemed to be working Ok afterwards,, did I do any damage? anyone else have this problem? I now push the fiber stuff into the cartridge so its not sticking out and trim it,, moving onto cartomizers very soon,,hear they are cool, thanks for your help as always

You should be fine, but that's sure sign that either your cart isn't wicking fast enough or that you've vaped it too dry. When the vapor production starts dropping off and the flavor starts fading or takes on a slightly burnt taste, it's time to refill or check the cart. You might also want to check and make sure that there isn't too much filler in there. When I used carts, I would take out the filler out and cut it in half.

I strongly disagree respectfully. That Carto is damaged and will NEVER produce the same sweet flavors. Toss it.

I would be inclined to agree if it where a Carto, but since it is a Cart with an Atty, I think it will recover nicely. IMO. This has just been my experience. Others will surely have there own experience and opinion. Worst case clean the atty in a little shot of Vodka for about 15 minutes, then let it dry. Bet it works pretty good after that. Again IMO for what its worth. :)
