if i may here are a couple of tips that worked for me.

1 know how much nicotine you need find out how much is in what you smoke and how many you smoke a day and start with a strength that will hold off the craving.

2 find a juice that is either similar to what you already smoke or something that you love the taste of and knocks your socks off.

3 have a backup in case anything goes wrong with your device or tank etc.

4 make sure what ever device you choose to buy that it has enough battery power to last you all day or have a second device you can go to while the other is charging .

Well, pulled the trigger today and it went *click*. No shops in town had an iTaste. On the bright side, the one closest to me said they would have them Wednesday and said they would give me a call.

Looks like I have a couple more days to hydrate and read.

Tomorrow I'm going down to the local B&M and getting a variable volt/watt unit and saying goodbye to these stinking analogs. I've been seriously cruising this forum for a week, gathering info to make an informed decision. My head quit swimming from info overload and strange terminology yesterday and things started making a lot of sense.

My thanks to all the patient people on here who hold newbs hands and pass out excellent information. I feel I am already miles farther down this road due to the good info on this site.

I actually bought my first eGo with VV. it has served me well. Best of both worlds! Topped it with an EVOD and off to the races! I still use it today....literally today! Welcome and enjoy the journey. You will find it is the best decision you can make for yourself. Keep after it and if you stumble, get back up and do it again! We all have. It isn't a huge deal- I was just psyched up to get started. A couple days won't make any difference, same as if I had ordered it online.

Which shop? Big E's on Rock just south of Kellog is where I buy everything, mods, batteries, juice etc. I'm just about to the 6 month mark and without the help from that shop I don't know that I would have made it. Family owned and operated and everyone there vapes. Unfortunately for me I'm now on speed dial there when new mods/attys drop in.

Edit - In addition, if your using their juice and you happen to be a few thousand miles away and low on juice a quick phone call and 48 hours later a care package arrives.

The Big E's on 21st is the place that will have them later in the week. I called the other shops in town I could find a number for- no dice at any of them. I'll check out their east store next time I'm on that side of town.

Same people, Rock was the first then 21st and now they are opening another somewhere down south.

Got a call this morning from the B&M, their shipment got here a day early and they had the PV I've been waiting on. Went down and got it, and I am more than pleased ! The kid that I had talked to walked me through everything in about 2 minutes, tried out some flavors and got a bottle and headed out the door.

I've been using it all afternoon, and am having a ball. No jones for an analog, no standing around in a cold garage smoking...this is GREAT! Wife says she can't smell a thing, so this is the first time I have been able to enjoy my affair with nicotine indoors in years. Best part...NOT smelling like an ashtray !!!

This could be the start of a big turnaround in my life....

you pegged the meter on several points :

- got what you wanted (and a day early)
- it's doing what is is supposed to
- wife approves
- you don't smell like an old wet sock in a fire anymore
