"Pulsating/palpitation" sound when firing Vamo V2?

Hey guys,

I just got my Vamo V2 today from Tropical Vapors in stainless and I have a few questions. I notice when firing the device the carto (or whatever I'm using) makings a hissing, pulsating sound as it's firing, it's definitely a different experience that I'm use to with the ProVari. I didn't realize that a device could change the sound of a firing carto? I figured they all sounded the same lol. Is this normal for this device?

Also as I said I got mine is stainless steel and there are a few scratches/blemishes on the device...is this what is standard out of China? I guess it's not a huge deal but I'm kinda OCD like that lol, when I buy something new I expect it to be flawless.

When i use stacked 18350s i get the rattlesnake sound, when I use a single 18350, it goes away

I've only tested the device with a 18650 so far, I'll post back with the 18350 shortly. BTW does stainless steel mean solid ss or is it only the finish that is stainless steel?

The sound you're hearing is the result of the 33.5~ frequency that the RMS regulator supplied power at. That makes it inherent to the device and most of the new VV/VW devices are all using the same chipset and the same frequency and make the same noise as a result.

I have a zmax (same chip as far as I know) and it pulses or palpitates. At first I thought it was just excited to be...well never mind...everybody's does.

In my ecig experience, anything under 100 bucks and out of china...flawless is relative. Except Innokin, every innokin thing I have got has been flawless.

That only happens to me when stacking dual 18350, with one bat it fires with the normal sound, but in dual mode it sounds like a snake.

I just tried my 18350's, it does the same thing as it does with the 18650.

The rattlesnake noise depends on the atomizer you use. None of my devices do it on my vamo ... atleast none that I notice.

To me happens with a 901 and a 306 cisco specs, never noticed what kind of noise in the ce5, or cartos. But noticed it only happens with dual 18350.
