Punched DCs: without a tank

I use Dual Coil cartos: both on a few different mods: some with and some without a tank.
(I use tanks from Big Daddy Vapor- their 3ml and 5ml tanks: which are absolutely fantastic).

Has anyone successfully used punched cartos without a tank; by covering the holes with a condom (with bottom cut off)?
Just wondering if the condom will stop leaks when carto is used on a non-tank PV.
(This would cut down the need for duplicate cartos of the same flavor: one punched, one not.)

Thought I'd check before I tested the idea.

Depending on how hot the carto gets the condom would likely melt. That vapor is not one I'd want to be inhaling...

If the carto body is hot enough to melt the condom you likely already have problems with a carto. You get dry heat burns at somewhere in the 140F zone. Some people use condoms with holes punched in the end as guards to keep the carto heat from bothering their lips on a draw.

They should make a tiny sliding door slit on the carto. There I will give that idea for free for all vendors, no more punching. Just imagine a tiny garage door for juice molecules.

How about an o ring? They have to endure high temps in the carto tank already, just get one shaped like a band instead of a ring. Like an 801 piece of plastic from a cart mouthpiece? Don't know if that would fit....

You can vape a punched carto without covering the punched holes. I FUBAR'd a couple with holes too big, so they leak in the tank. Being a cheapskate and not wanting to toss a brand new carto that's soaked with new liquid, I tried it. The draw is a little more airy, but works just the same as an un-punched carto out of the tank. Higher volts make it even better!

I do it all the time to when they arn't not wicking well enough to use inthe tank. carto doesn't get that hot
