While I agree with you 100% I also see the chance for accidents to occur like a bottle getting knocked off a table and going unnoticed or someone being tired and falling asleep on the couch while their gear is setting on a side table.

Accidents happen to vigilant people just like they do to careless people they just tend to happen a bit less to the vigilant.

When you are one of the vigilant you need to be extra careful because then you are not only fighting happenstance but also your own hubris at admiring how damn vigilant you are!!!

HAHA!

I adore your sense of humor! Thank you for making me laugh and smile!:D

And while I too, agree with you that accidents certainly happen, this to me seems to be more a matter of negligence.

Pets, like children, have a natural curiosity. I would hope that one wouldn't leave a bottle of e-liquid where it could be "accidentally" knocked off a table and a young child could then pick it up? The inherent dangers of nicotine poisoning pose far-reaching horrific ramifications for animals and humans. We are enjoying this wonderful world of vaping. Imagine what could occur if this type of "accident" happens, and as a result it in turn fuels the argument that e-cigs should be banned?

I think we all need to act responsibly if we wish to continue to enjoy vaping. An accident is something that can be avoided, and it hardly requires one to be overly "vigilant", just don't be lazy! It's not that hard to keep yourself, your children and your pets safe from nicotine poisoning.

I just wanted to thank everyone for they're posts! I liked everyones different ideas from training to different types of cases.

My house has never been so spotless the last couple days after puppy proofing it! bonus

I agree 100% with the general theme of the thread... and i'm training myself! Got in the habit of having my 510 in my one pocket when not in use.... and my bottle of juice in the other. Might need bigger pockets once my silver bullet gets here....

yeah its not that hard.. when being stored.. put in a lock box.. during the day keep in pocket / purse / small case..

reason behind teaching kids and animals to avoid is not so you can leave it out.. just think how many times you have dropped your toast on the floor.. just better to be prepaired for if it does happen

Awesome! now all you have to worry about is the 510 button getting pressed and burning you or the bottle leaking and poisoning you or falling and getting the PV jammed into your groin or it making a spark while you are pumping petrol and blowing up the entire block or, or, or...... ARRRGH somebody make the paranoia go awayyyyyyyy!!!!!

seriously though wrap that bottle in a ziplock baggie LOL!

Someone mentioned the johnson creek bottles. They're great for at the desk in a child/pet free enviroment but not at all resistant and larger than I expected. Btw my dog can unscrew a lid off of a jelly jar and off of child proof med bottles both.
