Having some buyers anxiety. If anyone has any comments or concerns about this purchase I am all ears. (I'm thinking I may just get the medium e-liquid)

Looks like you got most everything covered. I don't own a 510 myself, but I've heard good things about them. My only suggestion is about the juice. If you want medium, get the high, and cut it 50 / 50 with VG. you end up with two bottles for the same price, and the VG will give you loads of vapor.

IMHO your buying the e-liquid. Buy blank carts which will be cheaper and fill them yourself with the e-liquid

The 510 is a much better PV than the SmokeEverywhere & Njoy. Two suggestions, as mouse said, I would skip the prefilled carts as they generally don't taste good and get some blank carts and more liquid. I have not found anyone who has tried a Vanilla flavor from any supplier that actually tastes like Vanilla. I'm not too familar with Phil's liquid but I have heard good things about the Camel and the Watermelon from e-smokey.

On the nic strength, I would keep it higher because you can always cut it down with USP gycerin from the drug store but you can't make it stronger.

Johnson Creek's Vanilla Ice Cream is pretty much the closest thing to vanilla in my opinion. I don't like anything but tobacco-flavored fluids but thought I'd share since I tried it in their sampler kit and have tried other vanilla liquids (which were disgusting unlike JC's) as well.

Newbie here also.....started my e-cig experience w/ e-smokey treats. My PV of choice DSE 901. Great service and their chocolate juice is yummy, I must have more. Good luck w/ your first purchase. I lurked around in this forum for 2 weeks before I made my decision. My next choice will be the 510, researching it now. Have fun, it's like a new hobby w/ toys. Almost off the analogs....down to 3 per day. Don't go cold turkey, but honestly this is more fun!

Be prepared to cut it down to more managable levels...we don't want you to vape yourself sick.....in the beginning, most new users use a PV kinda like a pacifier. I'd get a bottle of high strength, and a bottle of low in the same flavor. You can tinker with the nic strength by mixing the two to find out what works for you.

I would order some type of tobacco tasting e-liquid product too. You're going from cigarettes to vanilla e-liquid which you may not like. It could sour your experience to vaping overall.

510 is a fine choice. You've done good research. Good luck to you...

When you cut you juice with VG you will get more vapor, but less flavor.

I just ordered almost everything you're talking about from e-smokey treats last week, and I'm very happy with it.

Only thing I would suggest (which has already been mentioned) is to get the blank carts instead of prefilled. I also bought the vanilla juice and while it's not horrible, I don't really get "vanilla" from it.

You might think about adding a passthrough. I did and I was very glad to have it so I could play with my new 510 while waiting for the initial 8 hour charge on the batteries. It'll also save you some battery life in the long term if you vape while home/at the computer a lot. Something to think about.

That's a good suggestion on getting the highest nic strength you can in a flavor and a lower strength in the same flavor. Then you can experierment more easily.

I too love the chocolate (plus the coffee and RY4!) from e-smokey treats. Placed a couple orders and they shipped fast and good product.

I did get some prefilled carts for convenience. The coffee and choc in prefilled are pretty good, IMHO. I top them off with other liquids that go well with choc (rasp for one!).

I think there should be some kind of pool circulating on how long it is going to take for Jim to get a 510.

i was just looking at that site to buy a penstyle (before I even got the 510 HA) and loved the prices but i did read something about us customs seizing pvs. are people having trouble getting their shipments in from out of country? or should i buy the DSE 801 immediately (from ruyandirect)?
