I also have a seperate credit card for my purchases but I scam and say that I need a seperate one so that noone can steal our banking info and then I just keep some money on the card. He "buys" every bit of that bull because in reality it does make sense to have a seperate card that is not linked to any other account and has only a small limit. But then again I am the one that gets the statements not him haha.

TT...all that made me think of was you and my ex-husband....well..him because the one thing he decided to purchase on our joint credit card was online porn. Now I didn't find this out until calling the credit card company to find out what the purchase was because it didn't look familiar. He basically lied about it before that....how ridiculous...if you're going to spend my money on porn...YOU SHOULD AT LEAST SHARE IT.

Needless to say that I removed his .... from my account shortly thereafter and cut up the card.

LOL, I KNOW you weren't thinking of ME!

I don't/can't/won't hide my purchases from my Wife. This is why I'm constantly futzing with the juices I have. I've warned her ahead of time that all bets are off after Christmas though.

Plus I get to buy myself a new PV for my Birthday in January. It's funny how things change after marriage...

Before marriage:

Her: "What do you want for your Birthday?"
Me: "An Xbox."
Her: "What else?"
Me: "I love you."

After Marriage:

Her: "What do you want for your Birthday?"
Me: "To be able to buy a moderately priced item without you giving me dirty looks."
Her: "I'm tired."

Right now I'm thinking an Omega. I know this corner of ECF is all "Buzzy", but I'm really not a fan of the pipe-bomb look. I'm also afraid that the ultra small switch will give me a complex about...uh...small...switches.

I'm really just looking for a big batt mod for LR dripping. The Omega's a tank with zero electronics in it. It'll surely last through the Vapocalypse.

Pipe Bomb Look??!! Why, I'm ... oohhh, geez, aaargh. I'm speechless.

And I just call my little bitty switch the King Kong switch.

No bad complexes that way.

That article is exactly why my wife and I have had seperate account for over 25 years. There is enough stuff to argue about without money involved. Once bills are paid we spend our money as we see fit. If she wants 5 diffferent tennis raquets then go buck wild. If I want $2000 skis and vaping gear same deal. Happy holidays all and vape away.

I was a little busy and forgot to stalk the mailman today, oops. I'm in the kitchen and hear the door open. I look to see my honey standing in the doorway with an arm full of packages. My face begins to light up with vapin excitement, and then his eyebrows go all crooked. I know that look on his face. So I grabbed the boxes and said "someone must have stolen the credit card!!" He didn't say a word, but I don't think he bought it, lol. In my defense one of those 4 boxes was the kids xmas present.

Hanging out in CA for now
Thankfully my hubby is understanding and I am FINALLY  spending less on vapeing than I was on analogs.

I usually can't hide my purchases from him. We travel about 95% of the time in our 5th wheel so I usually have my purchases sent to General Delivery at obscure post offices or to whoever's house we happen to be visiting. I can't drive his diesel 4x4, I'm stick shift challenged (ooh that sounds dirty) and I haven't figured out a way to have him take me to the post office and come up with a good excuse as to why I'm picking up a package.

Ha Ha! How long you been married, UpStomp??

I did convince my dear husband that I needed a separate CC because I had been reading on ECF about ppl getting their CCs hacked. But, I can't purchase ANYTHING without him knowing it because he always checks the CCs online. I can't even order anything as a present for him because he can see what all the purchases are! He grouses some about my juice purchases, but doesn't really get mad. He's really happy I'm no longer smoking!
