I need some advice please. I purchased some Pure Mint Extract at walmart today because I ran out of my menthol e-liquid. I do make my own e-liquid often just useing VG, Water & flavoring. Okay so my question is the pure mint extract liquid that I purchased at wamart safe to vape? on the ingredient's it say's: it is: 85% alcohol, water, oil of peppermint & oil of spearmint. Has anyone ever used this extract? is it safe? I sure hope so because I have been vaping it all day.
Please answer asap. Thanks...

Sure - this is a popular vape flavoring. But please be aware that nobody can say if anything is 'safe' or not at this stage. It's likely to be 99% safer than tobacco because expert medical researchers have said so, although the use of some flavorings is controversial. Peppermint oil has been used for a long time for inhaling in one form or another, so as a vape flavoring it should be OK.

Mint gives a different flavor from menthol, as I'm sure you've noticed. The two together also make a good flavor, a little goes a long way with these strong flavors.

I've found that my pure peppermint oil mixes don't last long - they need no ageing / steeping, but need to be used within a month or so. Some oils may not be good for atomizers, but after using a lot of peppermint on LR atties at low voltage and stock atties at 5 volts for a year or so, it has no effect at all. This may not apply to stock atties at low voltage (3.7 or less), though, it's possible they might get gunked up. I've found that atties used at higher power levels tend to be self-cleaning.
