I finally made the decision to purchase my first e-cig and I was going to take advantage of the sale at Pure Smoker... Had the web page up - was doing a little more final research on this site...went back to it and the sale is gone and taken off their home page! I am really bummed....guess I'll order from cignot.

Hi there, vermonter16. Say, I don't know whether you have a PV already or not, but here's food for thought. Our July 4th holiday is probably going to have lots of awesome specials. Perhaps someone will offer the eGo for an incredible price that matches or beats Puresmokers? If you have a PV already, you might want to wait a few days. Not trying to .... in, just trying to help.

Just remember that Geoff at Tasty vapor has also said that he isn't carrying JOYE products and there is NO waranty on his parts n spares - he's just carrying them for people who need spares at cheap costs. I'm sure anyone buying from him already knows this as its clearly stated on his site, just wanted to make sure anyone else was aware.
His juice is definitely excellent though as you can see from below my banner he's one of my preferred juice suppliers :)

Yeah no warranty, but they are JOYE (only the eGo and Ego stuff) just re branded. Janty now sells the Ego to a number of vendors re branded. So same quality just no warranty.

Does it have to be an ego? If you can accept a clone (that works great) with stainless steel manual buttons and LED ring band instead, i can recommend what i'm using at the moment.

Prices are pretty good too. No complaints so far on my unit after a month.

They aren't JOYE - he says they aren't lol
Maybe SLB or something

It should be a Riva by looking at the buttons.

Hard plastic = Ego

Soft Plastic = Riva

Steel buttons = Maxx/ T-rex

If they are really not egos, then its pretty shady to print Ego on their packaging.

Edit: Just read the warranty terms and they are pretty harsh for a US supplier. It seems that the "they accept no responsibility once the package leaves them".

So what this means is that not only is there no warranty, they will not even be responsible for lost/damaged deliveries. Not to mention DOA stuff.

Yeah but he's clear that these are soley for use as spares - he's only carrying them to help people out who need spares fast when they order juice, while they wait on their 'real' stuff. Many of the customer base requested it, jsut for emergencies. That's also why its so cheap. As its clearly stated I can't see why anyone would have an issue with it, he's primarily a juice person, not hardware guy.

From the Tasty Vapor sub-forum on this site:

" Again, to offer our products at these prices, we DO NOT offer any warranty, however, if you encounter any problems with the electronics, CONTACT US!!! "

Implies they will work with you on DOA and such.

I have to make it clear that i don't have any beef with tastyvapor whatsoever. Just saying what i understand from this.

It says clearly on the website that the responsibility leaves them when the package leaves their premises. This is a dead fact that they will not honor anything once it leaves their premises.

By asking customers to contact them for any electronics issue doesn't mean that it will be warranted. Besides, its an "electronic" cigarette that we are talking about here. How can any issue not be related to electronics, besides cosmetic problems?

Its a little self contradicting imo. Its like they don't wanna over commit and wanna have something to fall back on.
