Used a 510 and an ego for a while but went back to smoking.
I feel the 3.7 volt e-cigs are not going to cut it for me.

I found some decent liquids from Cignot and Tasty Vapor but the 520 atty's never seem to give out enough for me.

I'd like to look into a 5volt mod or something.

Anyone have any suggestions on what web pages may have good info on these?

Thank you everyone,
Charlie

Welcome to ECF Charlie.

Have you tried low-resistance cartos on the eGo? If you have not, try some Boge 2.0 or Smoktech 1.7 ohm cartos. They both give a better vape than the standard resistance attys/cartos and they are only $7-8 per pack of 5. If you are looking at higher voltages, you can get some inexpensive 5-volt box mods and they work great with SR cartos/attys. I really like mine with 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos. I got mine form Maximum Vapors. You can also look into VV mods that allow you to change the voltage to match your cartos and the hit you want.

Good decision on your part to look at a good 5 volt model. You can "somewhat" simulate higher voltage vaping with lower resistence attys/cartos but you will not get the consistency or longevity going this route because attys/cartos start to diminish as soon as you start using them.

One of the best, if not the best, 5 volt model on the market is the 5 volt GLV2. It comes with a lifetime warranty it is built so well. Here is the web site:

GLV-2 Electronic Cigarette [GLV-2] - $120.00 : Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

As mentioned above, a less expensive option is a 5 volt box mod. I have one from Ken's Box Mods and Ken stands behind his products. Here is his site:

5V Regulated Mod - Ken's Boxmods

A third option would be a good variable wattage model. In this category, one of the best, if not the best, is the power regulated Darwin. You will have a range from around 3.4 volts to 6.0 volts with the Darwin. It provides about 21+ hours of heavy vaping on a charge and since it has regulated, boost circuit technology, it is one of the most consistent models on the market and it comes standard with a two year warranty. You can also use 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers with the Darwin unlike some models:
