Hey Johnny5,

I own a T-tip shorty also. I want to try Zip-tip. Can you please tell me what the difference of opening diameter? It looks similar in your pic, but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks.

Well, I don't have any calipers, but the actual holes appear to be the same size. The bevel/funnel isn't as prominent on the zip-tip, but it drips just fine for me.

I still prefer carts. Is there any chance we'll see stainless steel tips that can accept filler material? These plastic ones suck. SS carts would ROCK!

I agree stainless carts would be awesome to not have to worry about melting and they would last forever.

Cartomizer + Zip-Tip = Better than cartridge IMO

Got mine in today.
the good:
-durable
-looks cool on the protege
-convenient

the bad:
-its slightly wider then a 510, so it blocks the air flow on an eGo if you put it on all the way. Have to keep it loose to get it to be functional.

how does it block the air flow?

I thought u wanted it tight so the o-ring seals so no air leak?

maybe I'm not understanding what your sayin.
this is like my college math class all over again!

The eGo draws its air from the top of the cone, as the rest of it is sealed off. The top of the cone is almost flush with the end of a normal sized 510 atomizer. It relies that there be a gap between the cone and atomizer itself to allow air flow. (very small gap) The zip tip is just wide enough to block most or all of the gap when it's inserted all the way. To get it to work right I have to put the zip tip all the way on, and pull it out .5mm to let air get through.
