I've been vaping now for 6 weeks, have had several orders come through. Managed to convince one of my adult children and my husband to get off tobacco. (working on my other 2 children) and had my first package snagged by customs.

The funny thing is, what they snagged was a lousy pair of shoes! It almost made it to my house when BC Customs flagged it to be searched. Okay, I said, knock yourselves out but don't damage them. I plan to wear them this winter. So Canada Customs allowed my juice through but not my Mukluks.

Go figure!

However it made me think, maybe I better stick strictly to Canadian dealers from here on out because no way to I plan to go back to smoking!

There are a number of great vendors here in Canada - don't panic. Might be a little pricier, but no border!

I've ordered my juice from the US for the past 7 months and have had no problems. A good vendor knows how to properly ship across the border. Canada customs is just plain wierd, so almost confiscating shoes.......

Well, I'm glad they're starting to crack down on this. How dare us canadians try to keep comfortable AND fashoinable! Imagine a bunch of us waltzing around with warm dry feet for winter! Anarchy would surely ensue.

It makes perfect sense to me.

Mukluks are a major natural resource in this country that we harvest and then export to the rest of the world, not the other way around.

Well, Canada Customs released my Mukluks last night and they are supposed to be here today.

Stupidest part of all this is, they had to be shipped FROM Canada to the USA because they were made here, then shipped from the USA back to Canada because I live here.

As far as juice goes, I've had nothing but good luck and great customer service from one company I've dealt with up here. I'll probably stick with them because I like the juice they have and when my atty died after only 1 month of use, they were quick to get me a new one with a couple of extra tanks

This made me laugh!!!

Last year I ordered a small flight suit for one of my small birds...in a mix of neon colours. It was opened and checked. I laughed just picturing the customs guy trying to figure out what it was!!!

What the hell is a mukluk?

A mukluk is a boot (not 'about' but a boot) kinda like how a toboggan is a sled, a chesterfield is a couch, and a toque is a winter hat. It's all right here in this Canuck to English Dictionary, lol.
