Good evening, friends!

I made the dire mistake the other day of picking up my old tube mod which was running a 0.3xΩ dual coil set up.

As you all know, I am what you would call a "lung burner," and after pulling a couple deep ones off my IGO-W, I became insanely dissatisfied with my Reo Grand, the only *true* benefit being not having to constantly pop the cap off the atty to drip.

That being said, I thought I'd try something with my Grand. I've heard of several people running 0.5Ω coils with very few problems (if any), and others say that the real trouble starts once you go below 0.4Ω.

So I went ahead and built my RM2 like this.

Each coil is around 1.1Ω, effectively making the total ohmage of my RM2 0.58Ω.

I must say, I am extremely happy with it.

I want you all to know I am not leaving Reoville. Not even close. Absolute worst case scenario would be this build destroys my Reo, and I'm left back where I started; waiting for the new kit.

See you soon, fellow Reonauts.

I also use mundy's magic wire and run 0.45 to 0.55ohm, and I also have the fuse mod. I used a regular drill and drilled the posts out to 1/16th one side at a time. A stock REO's performance can start to drop off at about .6ohm. You really should get the new contact kit Rob is releasing for us subohmers, with the new kit the REO will perform just as good, if not better, than all the other high end mech mods at subohms.
