Out of boredom since I don't have homework to do, I dug around for some pictures.
Back in High School when I was in band and thought long hair looked good on me haha.

At Fort Knox when I joined the Army at 18

Terrifying experience, first time on a horse. I did surprisingly well though

2 years ago when my dog was 6 weeks old and first day at home. This was the only way to get him to stop whining

Just a random picture that shows the majority of my tattoos

I can't be the only one here that drives a manual right? It seems to be a dying theme with people that drive cars,

My last three four-wheeled vehicles were manual, and my next will be as well. I like feeling as though I have total control over what the car is doing. I haven't had my own car for 4+ years though, and when I borrow they're always auto. :( I keep trying to convince my girlfriend to learn to drive stick, but she won't budge.

The photo with your pup is adorable! I can't wait until I have a place with a yard so we can have a dog again.

Thank you for your service, sir!

All I've ever driven, until I drove my girls honda element, were manuals. Not a fan of autos.

My Peterbilt is an 18 speed manual. My around town and take trips car is a Grand Marquis automatic. I never thought I would drive an auto in the snow. I was scared to even try but DH talked me into it. He raved about the newer tech and how an automatic was acceptable now.

The first one ever was a front wheel Ford Windstar. That thing was awesome in snow! I couldn't believe it. If you put the tranny in second, it stayed there until you shifted. The Grand Marquis? Um, maybe more like a ski! Even with great snow tires it can be a bit of a thrill to drive when it is slick.

I like manuals, always have and now that I have gotten pretty good at floating gears, I like them even more!

Have you seen all the 4x4s out there with auto trannies? WTHeck are they thinking? Nuff said. Rant over.

I love driving manual, but I will say the only vehicle I would intentionally buy as an automatic is a full size truck. I test drove a single cab Ram 1500 Hemi 6-speed and while I'm sure I could get used to it, I hated it. I understand that the pressure plate needs to be strong enough to hold when towing, so the throw on the clutch was SUPER long. If I'd bought that thing, my left leg would be twice the size of my right by now.

We have a Ford F250 King Cab (or whatever they call them now, it is the 4 door) and full size bed. Kinda fell into it when BIL died and SIL couldn't keep up the payments. It is an automatic 4x4. Works pretty well, even in snow due to the 4x4. I use it to get in and out of the driveway when it is really bad. Our driveway melts super fast with its eastern exposure and we seldom plow. If God put it there, we can wait for God to take it away. The only shoveling is for the back patio so it doesn't ice up. A Tripawd dog doesn't do well on ice.

In the Pete, I have to use the steering wheel for leverage and really reach to engage the clutch brake sometimes. Normally, it engages at the top portion and it is just fine for those moments when nothing but a clutch will do. Bragging on myself here: My clutch went out in Barstow, CA and made it to Denver with it!

Civic hatchy right Grrr? She looks real nice. I knew there had to be at least a few petrol heads around here. ;)

CRX VT, it had the B16a VTEC engine. For some reason that engine was never offered in the CRX over here. I ended up adding a turbo to it before I broke it for parts before I moved out here to SF. Super fun car, handled like a go cart.

Thanks Lynn. Now if the damn snow would go away and it would warm up. This winter sucks. Cold, but not enough snow to get the sleds out. My toys need me! Or maybe the other way around...?

I would be more than happy to send you some of the snow that we have gotten here in coastal Maine in the past 7 days. I have no need for here, now if I was a couple of hours north...in the mountains...
