About the worst I can think of that happened to a piece of my vaping equipment was when I was using my Echo (this is some months ago) and had a cup of coffee on the table next to my laptop. I also had the cup I keep my PVs in...instead of an ashtray. Not hard to guess what happened. The Echo had not only a coffee bath...but a nice long soak, too, before I noticed where'd I'd plopped it!! Arrrgh!

Damage control...attempted a modified reverse taryn spin..shook it trying to get liquid out...then put it in a storage bag full of rice. It was pretty scary...the darn thing kept spontaneously turning on...the LED kept going on and glowing awhile...then would go back off again. This went on the rest of the day. I left it in the rice, and the next day it had stopped ghost firing. After about 5 days I ventured taking it out and giving it a try.

It worked!!! And is still working. Not that I use it much anymore. But it does work...holds a charge and everything!
