Can someone tell me what the differences are between the Joye 510 and the joyetech EGO? Also is the Joye 510 and the Yeti from AltSmoke basically the same device? And finally, between these 3 brands what does everyone think the best PV is?

The only difference is battery capacity, the ego has a much higher mah rating.

The difference is the battery capacity, as VP states, but this means the Ego has a physically larger battery as well. As to the best PV, it all depends on what you want to get out of it. Do you want a smaller size? Get the 510. More battery life between charges? Get the EGo. The Yeti looks like a 510 but I'm unfamiliar with it, but someone else will likely be able to tell you about it.

The Yeti is a 510 just under a different brand name. Differences is the Ego, Riva, Hello and others in the same size range have a bigger higher rated battery that can go longer in between charges. This is an average and it will depend on a lot of variables, most being how often it's used but most say they get around 2rs in between charges on the 510 and similar batteries and 6-8 hours or more on the Ego and Riva style.

There is a size difference also. The 510 is a pen style device and looks most like a cigarette in diameter. The Ego, Riva etc are more in the diameter of a cigar.

If the size matters to you and you want to stick with a 510 and use it more than an infrequent basis I'd recommend pickup up a extra battery and charger with the kit or a PCC (Personal Charger Case) which has it's own battery and can charge the 510 when you're away from home.
