So, it would appear that my husband, the man who thought the PV was a pointless idea, is stealing my PV! Caught him having a few pulls last night and he sneaked some more before work this morning I guess I know what he needs as an early Christmas pressie!

I have the S-808D, an impulse buy before I found this website, I am happy with it though. Not sure what to get him, gonna research it a bit more I think so we can have a variety between us. He will def want something that looks more like an analog (am thinking the blue tip end though as mine is red and concerned people in public will think I am smokin) but that still gives a good TH, any suggestions?

Forgot....for carto's. Get blanks since you can fill any flavored juice you want in there. Plus, hardware vendors don't usually have good juice to begin with.

+1 for Kr808s. I have a volt, it's not my main PV but it's a seriously good contender. The auto is small enough for me to have hanging out my mouth an vape hands free. I think I'd break my teeth if I did that with this ego with a booster on it too lol

Apart from a 510, a kr808d-1 is pretty much all there is for cig lookalike pv's that aren't completely awful. I really prefer the kr808s over 510s because they're higher in voltage and with the newer kr808s you can get a better battery life compared to the 510. Just functions better for about the same size.

I got the ultimate ultimatum kit from vapor4life with lots of random cartos and batteries. My smoker friend went home with most of the kit. Trying to get him off smokes. I kept a couple xl batteries, the passthrou and the wall charger. Only had it for less than a day, but it is the only brand a group (the vappers/smokers) I belong to uses. They rave about it!

Haha, my BF is an exsmoker and he asked me to buy him a zero nic juice. I'm puffing on my Riva, so I gave him my mini 510. Now he tries mine and says, hey mine isn't strong enough, yours works so much better, so maybe I'll grab him a Riva for Xmas too

If you think he would want a slim ecig - nothing slimmer than what you have is any good.

I don't know which 808D you have (the oddball KR808D-2 which just a few rebranders use or the well-supported KR808D-1 which sold under its own model number and by rebranders and is also supported by 3rd party cartomizer makers). But both are 3.7v slim minis - strongest slim mini you can get and decent battery life with standard aka 78mm size batteries.

I recommend manual batteries - easier to get a good hit and harder to damage or kill with juice leaks. AT least try a manual battery.

Look at SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6. These are all rubberized and have a bit more charge and a better sealed threaded end on the manuals.

The other choice - Vapor4Life - not rubberized and allows longer drags (cutoff at 10-13 seconds vs 5 seconds for the other KR808D-1's) so even with manuals where you can press the button 1-2 seconds early to have vapor waiting when you start to drag, there is plenty of time left to drag with the Vapor4Life ones.

He seems to like your model fine so consider getting one of the above for him. And if yours in not thread compatible, you can get D1 <> D2 adapters if you want at leCig.com (I don't recommend their cartos though - not slotted acorss the center post, bad air flow)

I got pink batteries, but for my friend. We all try out best to pink this guy out as much as possible. The V4L pink is kinda pritty.
