Received a 3ml sample of PV4 - Parkes Vaping's take on RY4 as part of the 5 x 3ml Sample Pack for $7.50 - as they mix 'fresh' to order i asked for an 60/40 PG/VG blend at 18mg and the bottle was not ChP compliant, but does have a mixed on date. 30ml = $15 + $5 P+P (which should cover a bit of stuff) = £13ish
Thought i'd try the Marl-Buhl and PV4 as tobacco's - and both have been surprisingly good.
The PV4 had a familiar aroma, but one that i couldn't quite place. Definite rich Caramel and tobacco in a familiar kind of way.
Then i popped it in a tank with a new SR C9 Turbo Cartomiser, and screwed it onto the Lava Tube.
This juice has a smooth, deep, slightly toasted, Caramel flavour to the fore on the inhale, with a satisfying tobacco-ness to it, and leaves a slightly sweet, slightly dry Caramel/Tobacco on the exhale. It's earthier at lower V and becomes sweeter for me from about 3.7V plus. As expected at about 4.7V it hits my Sweet Spot with the flavours combining well into a rich, warm yet soft sweetness, with tobacco undertones. Good VP and a nice, soft TH!
The familiar something is RyHi5 - this just seems to be a 'deeper' version. Whereas RyHi5 is subtle with it's lightness, PV4 is rich and yet lightly sweet and not cloying at all. If thee like RyHi5 but would like to try it with a deeper Caramelness to it (and a darker colour) then thee wouldn't go far wrong with this juice. A sort of Yin to RyHi5's Yang
