Pyramid Tea Bags

So, I am off to Wally World this afternoon and wanted to try the Pyramid tea bag method.

My first question is what type/flavor of Lipton do I buy so I know I am getting the pyramid bags??

My second question for those that use this as cart filler how often do you need to replace the filler or does it rinse out well?

Then my next question is I have tried standard tea bags and it just did not work well for me. The tea bag did a LOT of soaking up of the liquid and became a nasty soggy mess. Does the pyramid bags have the same problem?

And lastly, any tips for when I am putting this into my cart (510)? I have seen the video as well as a post with instructional pictures, so I think I have the right idea....

They are made of nylon not paper. So no soggy mess and they rinse well in water.

As someone else stated, the pyramid teabag is a selling point for the product, so its pictured on the outside of the box. My favorite so far has been Vanilla Caramel Truffle.

Nylon doesnt absorb the juice like paper does, so not soggy and rinses off clean with just warm water. These do tend to hold a drop of juice, but nothing like paper or poly fill. Ive been filling the same cart/fill for a week now and all is well. Doesnt even seem to mix up the flavor if I top off with something different, which is nice.

No special instructions needed. Trim the pyramid melted sides until you have a rectangular sheet, roll it up, fold it in half, stuff it in the cart and trim to fit. Been doing this for a week or so with no problems whatsoever on my 501 carts.

Ha I bought the Vanilla Caramel Truffle! Even though I don't like tea I figured if any of the taste wore off into my e cig, that is the flavor that would taste the best!

I just posted in the main tea bag thread that has been going on, but pretty much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pyramid bags! So much easier to try to refill that carts!

Yeah, I tried the regular Lipton Iced Tea bags and got the soggy mess as well...goes to show I didn't do my research before just trying any old tea bag!

Giant Eagle grocery stores also sell tea in pyramid bags under the brand name of Market District. They are in metal, cylindrical tins and are around .50 - .75 cents cheaper than the lipton bags. The material is not as rigid and doesnt hold its shape like the lipton bags, but it does work just as well. I cant say if they are nylon or not, but I can confirm they dont burn, wick well, and no funky taste. Because the material isnt semi rigid, it does seem to fill the cart better, in that the entire cart at the top is filled with material, versus the little edge gaps I seem to get with the lipton.
