Pyrex G50 Tank Leaking

Hello ECF!

I am brand new to this site, and have been vaping for only a month. So far i like this site, and i absolutely love vaping, i havent smoked a cigarette since! My first piece and my current is a G-50 Pyrex glass tank with 5ml capacity, and a Ego C twist 900 mAh. Recently my tank has been leaking into the battery, giving me that gurgling, and not as good vape as it used to produce. I have tried cleaning the entire tank and atomizer, and it is fine for a day then starts doing it again. Im not sure if i have to replace it completely, or if it something that i can fix. Any help would be absolutely appreciated!:2cool:

I'm not familiar with that specific tank, but all tanks (except the more advanced rebuildable ones) have consumable atomiser 'heads' (the part with the wick and coil).

How long have you been using it for? Might well help to replace that...

Welcome!

-edit: Aha! That's a hypertank by another name! I've got two - they're nice little tanks. And yes, you need to replace the heads quite frequently - I've found anywhere from every two days to just over a week, depending on your juice.

Lower ohms (resistance) will increase the current (amps) drawn from the battery for a given voltage.

The effect is complicated and hard to precisely characterise, but for a given voltage setting it should be hotter and will use up the battery faster.

You can just turn the voltage down to get more or less the same vape.

I've learned so much just from talking to you on here, and i just want to personally thank you for that! I cant wait until after basic training (i leave in 2 weeks) so I can really continue with this soon-to-be hobby of mine :) Thank you Generic Mutant and thank you ECF! This thread has completely solved my problems and I am %100 satisfied with everything.
