They do break when you drop them on concrete or other hard surfaces, but it's worth that little danger. First off, think of the fact that there are warnings against re-using the same plastic bottles every time you drink water, and warnings about using plastics in microwaves. The fact is that plastic doesn't fare well over time under heat conditions. So even if you never vaped a tank-cracking juice, plastic is still inferior to glass.

Glass is the cleanest way to house any liquid and it imparts zero flavor to its contents. Period.

Glass breaks easier when dropped, unless you are using a glass tank with a shell (ARO and Hypertank/G50 for example) but it can handle any juice you decide to put in it. Plastic is a bit harder to break but it still can, and does crack, melt, or dissolve with some juices.

Bottom line if you do want to use "tank cracker juices" then glass is a MUST. If you tend to be accident prone, then a tank with a metal shell is best. Otherwise it's is really just preference.

So far for me, since none of my juice seems to be a tank cracker....The only advantage for me is some juice just tastes better. Ive compared my Mini PT-II side by side with my T3S at the same voltage. Both are very similar in coil design and ohm rating. I think one taste better than the other depending on which juice im vaping. The T3S i prefer with the sweet berry types and the glass PT-IIs taste better to me with mints and menthols.

Im sure others have a different preference. I do like the ability to take them totally apart for a good cleaning but i can do the same thing with my iClear30 and its plastic. It also has great flavor with my mints and menthols.

I would like to try an Aro Pyrex though. Ive heard a lot of good things about them and the added metal shield to protect the glass is a nice bonus.

BTW i thought there was a Smok polypropylene tank that was ok with tank cracker juices too.
