QR code on Sony batteries

I've seen that post. I'm asking what would happen if you scanned the QR code on the real vs the fake (I don't have a QR scanner).

I've never heard of anyone scanning one, but it's very interesting :). My Sonys have no QR codes on them or I would have taken closeup pics of them. I screen captured the ones on the web page about fake cells and input that into two different online readers but they didn't recognize them. I did what I could to enhance the images, maybe I just don't have enough resolution off the screen.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this :thumb:

I found a QR code scanner to scan the code on both of the batteries that I got. It gave me a long numerical code (21 characters if my count is right) that didn't lead to anything. They were both started with the same string of numbers, but with the last four differing, so I guess that's comforting. 204802171311211911798 and 204802171311211916319 if anyone cares.
