Sony 18650, 30A identification

I purchased a Sony battery today that came in a white box and had a simple sticker on it, 2100mAh 3.7V.
The printing on the battery itself is so faint I can barely read it. The QR code is the clearest item visible. Is there any database or search I can to check if it's authentic? After removal of the sticker there really is no identifying information on it other than batch/lot serial numbers.

Yup, that's pretty much it. That's how it looks, those are the specs for the Sony vtc4. No other way it can be identified.

Thanks. The packaging and marking struck me as a little shady for a Sony battery.
