For the love of god someone strap this thing to a 5v mod so I know if I can use it or not. Sounds great but I don't want to spend money to find out. We are all waiting for an answer to this. Maybe someone has done it and I am missing the post. lol

They vape great up to the 4.2/4.4 range. But they taste burnt on a 5V regulated device. I tried it immediately after filling and then 1 hour later with the same result. But you have to keep in mind that they are 2.4(ish) ohms and that is right on the edge for 5V vaping.

So the Sapphires are still vaping like a champ. I have yet to hit a dry spot or have one sputter on me. But I do have a question for all of you to help me enjoy them more. I'm getting a slight plastic taste ( not burnt plastic ) coming through when I'm vaping, kind of like drinking water from a brand new plastic sports bottle. I've been using familiar juices, and had been dripping earlier in the day from the same bottles so I know it's not the juice. At first I thought the flavor just wasn't fully coming through on the Sapphire, but now I think the plastic I'm tasting is just masking the flavor somewhat. I've put about 3 tanks through one and 1.5 through the other since last night. My question is, will this pass once they're broken in more? Or would a vinegar/baking soda bath be more effective? I've read that both of those will help remove that taste from new plastic. However, with this internal atty on the Sapphire, I don't want to get baking soda lodged in there and mess it up. I guess a long vinegar soak wouldn't hurt anything. Wanted to see if any of you guys have experienced this before with other tanks and how you'd dealt with it. I started using them right out of the box. Should I have given them a good cleaning first?

I knew there was a reason I didn't video review the sapphire last night and waited till today. It's already AWESOME but I figured out a tip that makes it absolutely perfect IMO. Makes the flavor, TH and VP just like dripping. Can't wait to post the video tonight!!!!! (aerovapor on YouTube, STAY TUNED!!)

Really? I mean... Really?? Isn't it bad enough that Chris taunts us with hints of new products around here, now we have to wait for killer tips as well?

PLUS...and for some people this is most important....I found a way to seamlessly vape it at 5 volts with full flavor, TH, VP and NO DRY HITS!! and it's no modding it or n e thing involved. I will make and upload the video when I get home from work tonight. Hit me up on YouTube... Aerovapor so you can see the video. I will also post it on here :). Man I love the gotvapes products lol

I know exactly what you are talking about. My 1st BUD when I use it at 7 W+ on my Darwin gives that taste. The 2nd Bud I can goto at least 9 W (haven't gone higher since I want to break it in first) with perfect flavor. I suspect that taste is coming from the atomizer not being fed enough juice for the power being sent to it. Try it with a battery that is not fully charged if you are using a non-regulated device and see if that taste goes away or contact Chris for a replacement Bud. I do not think cleaning will fix the problem.

YES ! it's definitely been the 'easiest out of box' experience for me. I've tried about everything it seems and I wish I would have had this as my first vaping experience. I think every newbie should start with one of these. I'm excited to see what kind of 'tweaking' everyone comes up with. The whistle tip....I love. My fav is the 'saloon tip', but I can adjust to this one. Since I'm use to clearomizers and that great taste they give, this easily measures up and surpasses, my only con....I wish the "drawl" wasn't so airy. maybe needs to be a little tighter, I think that is why I prefer the saloon tip, it's a smaller and more concentrated drawl. But to take a big drawl on this sapphire and not get a mouth full of juice is awesome, and no leaking makes it awesome ! Thank you to gotvapes.com for an awesome product , I let some friends try this out this evening....now all of my friends are now stalking the website for when they are available again !

So out of stock, but hey I don't see one that is compatible with 808,is that an option or can I get an adapter?I'm still a newbie but already looking for diversity in my vaping.I use the bloog batteries and cartomizers but also used the fluxomizers from gotvapes-which I like because the taste is a bit different than the cartomizers.I like switching things around to get the different aspects of the juice on different platforms. So is there an adapter that will enable me to use sapphires on my bloog?Or maybe I can just order the 510 kit,but wait,it's out of stock.
