Hi all. I'm tempted to do a quad coil on my kanger subox rba. 1 question though. The vid I seen on you tube picture quality wasn't that good but I would like to know if it's ok for the top and bottom coils to be touching. Wasn't to clear in the vid. Figuring top and bottoms can touch because they are wired into same posts either side. Quite new to this but I'm building some quality coils. Spot on what I'm aiming for. Like a kid in sweet shop. Building and swapping coils 2-3 times a day. Don't know if I want clouds or flavour. Hiesenburg on a 2.2 ohm 15 watts nice.

The impression I got from the video was that it was a case of I'm going to build this not because it makes sense, but because I can, tadah! That much heat in that small a space with that little airflow doesn't make a lot of sense. I have a quad coil in a Kennedy which is arguably one of the airiest RDAs, and that gets pretty damn hot.
It's great that you are enjoying building, but perhaps rather than attaching lasers to sharks heads, focus your skills on making a build that's enjoyable to vape.

Trial and error. Same with all builds I've done. Some to hot, some I get nothing. So will wait and see. Let you know.
