...ok sorry. My ego is 3.7V (650mAh), I ordered the 3.7 and the 5v from Godzilla. I wanted the 3.7 for the clear dual cartos because they're just...well awesome. And there is a huge difference between the egos and the 3.7 as far as vapor, and flavor.
This was my first 5v BUT I have veteran vaping friends w/mods that cost a car payment and they all recommended this box mod, they have these too! I'm using a 3 ohm carto (been through clearomizers, ego tanks, carts, attys, smart carts, dripping etc, etc) and this hits just right. I use KBV joose which is great stuff, but only once I got the 5v did I realize that not only was there such thing as a warm vape (not the hot burnt carto kind of warm, lol) but I can now taste all the delicate layers of the e liquids.
This box is well made by a good guy at a steal price. If you're looking to test the HV waters this is the box to do it with, IMHO. oh...and it's super easy to use and the batteries last all day.

Hey Renee, Thanks for your response! I just ordered the 5V today, looking forward to checking it out. My only concern is having to use regular 2.8-3ohm carto's. Since I've been using Mega dual-coils I've grown used to the bigger size so I'm not topping up so often. Have you used any Mega cartos like the Boge 2.5ohm Mega carto on the 5v box? Are there any others you would recommend? I thought I had read somewhere that Smoketech makes dual-coil mega cartos in the 3 ohm (2x6) range but I can't find them. Maybe Steve can chime in here? Can't wait till Friday!

A box mod is a box mod. There are a couple of small touches that are unique but the design itself is not new. Madvapes sells the kits and I just buy the parts in bulk from them and drill the holes myself. I call myself foxy box mods because ECF required I come up with a name and because mrs Godzilla decorates them for a fee.

I can't remember who has the cartos you want but there is one vendor. More will be hitting the market shortly. Start a thread in the forum asking the question.

I'd like to bowl league again but unfortunately that'll probably never happen with my back I had the most fun on the Summer trio league, if someone got hung they bought a round. Nhaler has 2.5 ohm dcs. I am using 2.0 boges on the 5v and no problems at all. I can also use the reg dcs(1.5)with no problems either. So is my sister. She has no problems using Dc's 1.5 on the 5v boxes.

Definitely had trouble with 2 ohm boges at 5 volts. That seems like way way to much wattage.

Not trying to say you are wrong, but perhaps my boxes are different.

Now I think I built both boxes you are talking about, so maybe I am wrong.

So I tried a dual coil 1.5 xl (non clear) on the 5 volt box mod and the battery shut her down immediatley.

Surprisingly the LR 2.0 carto works, although I seem to taste more flavor on the 3.7 volt with that 2.0 boge carto. Like the 5 volt is a little too hot. Who knows. I wonder why mine wont work and yours does with the duallies. Wierd, since I built them all.
