i love that wood combo... if it was #3 i would have loved to snag it... ive been wondering who scored it....
im loving my wooden foxy bottom feeder... loaded up with my signature "komakozy" juice = a blend of every juice i never liked.. oddly they rock when you through them all in the same bottle...
I was the lucky one to get it. Oh and i got my package from you today too. I haven't put my foxy wood down long enough to put the batteries in it yet.

I love hearing stuff like this after a tough day. Thanks for bringing up my spirits pal. Sounds like you are going to need a foxy box back up soon. I never leave the house without 4 sets of batteries charged, at least until now. Now I take a 5v or VV and a set of fresh batts as a back up, but am primarily using my bottom feeder when out and about. I still am psycho about not leaving without a full back up just in case.

cheers Scott in Boca.

Godzilla, I hate you. LOL Since I got your VV mod box, I can't stop using it! You spoiled me. No more stick batteries for me anymore. Whenever I'm out of the house I have my Foxybox with me. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got several packages in today, one of them being a Foxy Custom 5V (first package I opened). I gotta say, I love this thing. It really allows you to grip it like you own it when you fire it up. I may have to get me a t-shirt..."You can take my PV from me when you pry it from my cold, dead hands."

The first thing that really jumped out at me is the color. It's hard to really show in pictures just how much personality there is in the paint job. Godzilla described it as kind of a lizard skin, and it's a really good description. I tried to take some close ups of it for show.

The overall color as you can see is green, but there are some slight green-yellow specs and some reddish tints towards the bottom. Also kind of reminds of me a lush forest floor.

The second thing that I really liked is the door. Moving the box around in my hand, it feels like a solid unit and the door doesn't wiggle or give any signs of being loose. If you put pressure on the side of the door, it will slightly give to let you know it is not a solid block of wood, but it also lets you know that it wants to stay where it is. After taking the door off and then slowly pushing it back into the place, the magnets start attracting with at least half an inch clearance, and the door snaps into place exactly where it should be without needing to guide it.

There are also a couple pieces of wood (balsa?) on the inside that are glued in place to provide seperation between where the circuit and wires are, and where the batteries get placed. This is handy when putting the batteries in for me, as I can wrap my fingers around the front of the box while holding the top battery, tilted at an angle while I prepare the bottom battery, and the wood dividers provide support.

And here is a final overall picture with a Smoktech 3.2 ohm carto in a syringe tank.

I have also run a 2.0 dual coil in a syringe tank, and it works without a hitch with the Ultrafire 18350 batteries which I am loving.

With a solid feel, and color with attitude, this Foxy Custom has instantly become my go-to vaporizer.

It does have a mossy forest floor feel to it. Very nice!

Quick question for y'all. What do you do to steep a juice? Do you just let it set for a given amount of time? Do you ever expose it to air?

I've found that most fresh-made juices I get from my favorite juice supplier need a bit of steeping to reach their peak for my buds (although many people swear by vaping them straight from the mail, YMMV). I've tried about every method I can think of, and what I've come down to as the main factor is, simply (and perhaps unfortunately), time.

I didn't find much difference concerning location--fridge and a dark, cool cabinet both seemed to yield the same results. I also didn't find much difference when exposing to air versus cap on storage. Some people will swear by these factors being the difference between life or death, but I haven't noticed them contributing to anything besides higher-nic juices oxidizing and changing the color slightly (no taste difference for me). If you choose to try going the "no cap" method, I suggest a strainer over the top to keep out dirt, debris, and gnats, midges, etc. I had a breakdown over the summer after gnats invaded my kitchen and made it into the cabinet where I had topless juice when I was refilling one day. I'm a steadfast catfisher, so I used a clipping of pantyhose material held over the bottle neck with a rubber band (it's for holding chicken liver and cheese baits on the hook, people, not for showing leg... wanna' lure those fish in, not send 'em screaming to deeper water by glancing at my snow white hair shanks in pantyhose).

For me, all I can do is wait it out. This particular juicer's liquids hit my sweet spot (actual juices vary, give or take a few days to a week) between a week and a month. If I'm dancing around with one of the long-steep juices, I have found I can draw back the amount of steep time by at least a few days or more by severely shaking it like a tailfeather, then siphoning a smaller portion into a smaller bottle. I've noticed the smaller the amount, the (slightly) shorter the steeping time.

All of that rambling may help ya' a bit, and I hope it does. But different strokes for different folks. You may be able to tell a difference in where you steep it, or how you steep it [insert standard YMMV here], but for my tastes I can only play the waiting game.

Hey Poolslime, thanks for the in-depth review of your new Foxy Custom 5v. Enjoy. By the way, what juices did you get?
I'm loving this Foxy Custom. Word is spreading.

As for juices, I picked up a couple sample packs from Cooper Creek, as well as a couple of individual juices to try (House and Cappuccino). They marked Cappuccino as being best when steeped, and I've never done that before. Figured I'd also start steeping other juices I've gotten from KBV as well to see what happens.

Have steeped House in my tank right now..just yum..lol. I do like it out of the mailbox though. I would be curious to hear what you taste when you get going on it. After about 2 weeks I taste salted caramel and it is just smack your mama good! lol
