Sleep is overrated You dont get paid for doing that.

I get about 6 hours of sleep a night. Remember, I am on California time, so a lot of times, I am going to bed, just as others on the east coast are waking up.

I have been up Just got back from the dentist getting a cavity filled. Not much fun, but the key is to ask for nitrous

In New York dentist's don't want to give patients nitrous and if you demand it they want to charge at least $100.00 for it. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and find Novocain or any other injectable not only doesn't work but actually seems to make the pain worse plus my mouth is puffy for hours afterward.

I really hate going to the dentist now. Being retired I no longer have dental insurance.

I will take the novacain coupled with nitrous thank you very much. My dentest does not even put novacain on as a line item, so zero is billed. When my insurance ends, that will not be fun, but that is why I had this filling put in today. Takin advantage of the insurance while I still have it. I got laid off from a 14 year sales position 2 weeks ago today. I am actuallly feeling a sense of relief, although I need to go out finding a job. I can only build box mods so fast, and this by itself does not feed a family. But let me tell you, thank God for Foxy Box Mods. Keepin some food on the table that is for sure.

Hope you come up with something soon Steve. The best of luck on that. I know what you mean about sense of relief. When I retired, it felt like a load was taken off my shoulders. The workplace is not a fun place anymore with the way things are.

Need a “rest” for your FBM? As my V V FBM is on it’s way, and I’m out of places to “rest” it, I saw this while roaming around Michaels Crafts. Since it was only three dollars, I thought I’d take it and use it for a “rest”. Just added some felt, a stain, and some laquer, and there we have it. The mirror back makes it look more like something the ladies amongst us would have, but I thought maybe I could do something with it to man-o-nize it a bit, but after thinking about it, I decided that I didn’t get this to make a major project out of, so I just left it. Just goes to show, there are cheap ways out there to do things.

OMG (not the joose) I am so very sorry you lost your job Steve. I will pray that you get another job soon, in your field of work. God will take care of you and your family. Hang in there my friend.

The workplace is not a fun place anymore with the way things are.

You are so right there oplholik, it is not the same and work ethics are really horrible. Priorities are misplaced too.

sorry to hear about your layoff, steve...but now I'm even more glad to buy a mod from you -- it's not much but hopefully it'll keep your kids in chicken nuggies for a night or two

LOL, they love chicken nuggets. We will be fine. I have another interview tomorrow. It seems the Real Estate Brokers in the area are chomping at the bit to talk to me. I sold about 650 brand new homes in about 5 subdivisions within 5 miles of me in the last 8 years. Its a great client base to earn business from now, and in the future. Plus all the other thousands of homes that are changing hands around me. Its just wierd being in the job market. I have never "not had a job". Any time I got a new job, I still had my old one, and always gave notice. I am quite a loyal person, so it hurt even more to get the axe. They are looking for younger people, new to the industry, happy to make a poverty wage. The San Francisco is a dual income area, but for me, I am a single income family, so my expectations are higher. Plus, to give up each and every weekend, I expect to make more than a typical monday thru friday sales person, especially since I put my Real Estate License on the line each and every time I sign a new home purchase agreement. Resale (selling lived-in homes) will offer me an opportunity to sell 1/5 the amount of homes, and make the same money, and make my schedule.

I am caught up and shipped out on all orders. Its time for Bowling League tonight. I will keep an eye out for PMs while bowling, and will invoice any orders at about 11PM Pacific Time. Any orders tonight that pay tomorrow morning will ship tomorrow, and you will likely get your mod Saturday depending on where you live. I have Black 3.7 and 5 volt box mods ready to ship.
You choose the LED color. Bright ... blue, green, orange, red, violet, pink and color changing.


I will have more white 5v mods, as well as more variable volt mods built by the end of the week. White 3.7s are not in stock, but will be ordering some more to arrive next week.
