Cool, first time to try the multi quote. How easy. Thanks Missy, for the tip over on the KBV thread
First of all, I estimate conservatively, and also, that is while charging two discharged batteries at once. Charging only one at a time is half the time, or about an hour, maybe a tiny bit more, but never put a stop watch on it.
I sure appreciate your info Rob. Would use the type of fuse holder to hold a fuse like found in my car, or do they make tinier inline fuses. I guess I would need to include a couple of extra fuses with each kit, cheap enough for sure. I could easily build one and try it out. I maybe am being a little paranoid, because the batteries i use are protected so I am thinking that the protection circuit would kick in before anything dangerous happens, but there is always that chance that this could happen on a battery which has a protection circuit failure (outside chance, but nevertheless there is a chance)
It would be difficult in this case to replicate the condition, as I would need a battery without the protection circuit to try it. I will give it a go. I could also tell everyone that buys one to get a multimeter and meter the batteries when they come of the charger. I usually do, because I like to make sure my batteries are remaining close in charge. once they were not, so i charged the little lower one until the light turned green, and they were matched again.
