Steve, the 3.7v got here and it's great! Thanks man!!!

I've yet to try the dual-coil or the juice, but thanks man! I really appreciate it :D I'm using the new G4's on the 3.7 (oh, by the way, they suck :( ) But, I'll play with them more to see if there's any redeeming them.

Levitas, please let me know if you get any different results with the G4's. I think they totally suck and won't waste anymore time or juice on them.

Ok, you box mods and charger are both tested and packaged for shipping. I will send you tracking as soon as it ships in about 2 hours. Make sure you charge the batteries first. Also, the carto I included in the kit is best on the 5 volt (3 ohm boge)

Charging 2 batteries together on the charger will take about an hour, or a little longer to bring them up to full charge. They are shipped brand new with a half charge. Normally I try and charge a set of batts for you if time allows, but I want to get this shipped this morning.

Let us know when you get them, and how you like them :)

Steve

Thanks so much! I can't wait to receive these mods. I was wondering Can I use regular Cartos on the 5v and the 3.7v mods? I have like 30 of them left that I wanna use up before I try ordering some of those Clearomizers or something to that effect. I might also end up getting some of the double coil cartos (are these the same as clearomizers w/ the thick wick and no filler? or are the double coil like regular cartomizers w/ filler and just 2 coils running inside?)

Your regular cartos will be wonderful on the 5 volt device. I recommend the dual coil 1.6 smoketeck clear ones. Bob over at kbv has them for a very fair price but they go quick.

A boge 2.0 carto also works great on the 3.7.

I personally have not had luck with any other clear carto without a ton of nodding or washing. It seems there is a race right now to come out with a perfect carto which is good for us. The not so good part is many of us pay retail to test all those out. Free R&D. Cartos are not easy to build perfectly it seems.
Now, so far the dual coils (and clear ones) are the best for me with my box mods.

Meh, I took one to school with me today, filled with KBV CinnaMint. The taste is better (perhaps it's just tobacco that tastes odd? I dunno.) but the vapor is just not good, and the worst part is a complete lack of TH.

I don't know if you've ever had Cinnamint, but it tastes just like BigRed bubblegum and the TH is relatively generous at 12mg, but no so on the G4's. I am going to continue to play with them, even more when i get some menthol juices in from an order I'm waiting on.

I've been using them on the Foxy 3.7v and though other's say they use these at higher voltages, like 5-6v, every juice I've tried at above 4.5v tastes just terrible! I'd avoid them, at least until if someone figures out a way to make them work like they're supposed to. It won't be long before revision 2 comes along, I assume.

Just got home from school to find out the first two exams I took in Abnormal Psychology are both over 100% :D Have to celebrate with some Boba's in the 5v Foxy - but really, who needs a reason

With the 5v, I've had no problem at all with Boba's. Used the regular cartos and the 3.2's I just received with no burning. Maybe I take shorter hits or refill them more often.

You were right about the dark juices. I swapped the RY4 carto off the 3.7 and tried it on the 5v once. I won't do that again. :) Those 1.5 clear dual coils should be here tomorrow and looking forward to them on the 3.7. Not real thrilled with the regular carto on the 3.7, but maybe the 5v spoiled me. 4 or 5 pulls to get a decent hit will also shorten battery life, so hope the dual coils help.

Congrats on the scores! I haven't tried the KBV Cinnamint yet but I'm thinking I probably should, that and Boba's and Gorilla juice I keep hearing about. I have no idea what they are.. do you?

Thanks guys!

Yep, what Steve said. They're tobacco blends, they're both relatively sweet. The Gorilla juice tastes like Banana nut bread to me, and I've no clue what the Boba's is, 'cept that it's good. The main reason I love Boba's though, is, that at 12mg, the TH is amazing and I don't get headaches. 100%vg juices so they perform great vapor-wise, though, they are dark and thick and may not perform as well in cartos. I've never tried, I always drip and always at 5v or at 5.2v+ on the VV, depending on the atty used.

Hey Acehess, maybe you would consider buying only a 3.7 mod for $19 with first class shipping for around $22 total. You wont be sorry if you ordered a bunch of those dual coils. they are easy enough to sell (or trade for boge cartos) if absolutely necessary. If you purchased a spare set of batteries, you could dedicate those to the 3.7 and use the charger that came with the 5 volt. you will love the dual coils on the 3.7.

As far as cartos for the 5 volt box mod, the cheapest way to go is boge 3 ohm (some vendors call them 2.8)

Some may have used the 2.0 ohm dual coils on the 5 volt, but I have not.

Steve

Oh, and the 2.6 ce2s should be fine on the 5 volt. i bit hotter than a 3 ohm i am guessing.
I personally have not had any luck at all with the ce2s on other devices (mainly an ego) but hopefully others will chime in here

Like a fool I ordered a bunch of 1.5 dual coils when I ordered my 5 volt box mod. I hear they will not work on the 5 volt. Both are still on the way ( shipping). I will get one cart with my kit. My question is what else to buy. I have a few 2.6 ce2 . Any suggestions?

Just wondering where you bought your 1.5 Duals @ i'm looking for a few for my 3.7 mod.
