About the KBV and other tobacco juices I have tried:
KBV: Love bogart. It isn't sweet at all, but has a very rich, almost cigar-like flavor. Crossfire Trail: Hate it. Too much anise/licorice. That being said, I like to mix it with other tobacco flavor juices. Nutty Uncle KY: Delicious, and this may be (so far) KBV's best offering for someone who wants to replace stinkies with a good, rich tobacco vape. I haven't yet cracked open my bottle of KBV Ry 4; it's steeping,. Vape Placied: This one took some getting used to. It is a wonderful menthol flavor.
Other menthols: I like Smilin' Special from V4L once in awhile, but it's very sweet to my taste buds. Minnesota Menthol from Vermillion River is a solid tobacco-based menthol, and it may become a favorite. Johnson Creek Arctic Menthol: Hate it. Tastes very perfumy/artificial to me, but in fairness, I only vaped it once. Maybe it has improved over time, I don't know.
Cleo, I don't know *who* makes the best menthol. To my taste, for a tobacco/mentol combo, Minnesota Menthol is right up there.
