I will let it steep some more. I tasted a hint of red bell pepper, similar to a juice I tried from them called Virginia. But Casablanca is definitely more complex. I can tell you so far I much prefer Bobas over the Casablanca.

My next juice on my list to try is RY4 by Ikenvape.

I have had quite a few requests recently for white box mods so I will be building quite a few white box mods in both sizes. I should have some ready for shipping by Saturday. If you are thinking you will want a white variable voltage mod, you should let me know in the next couple of hours, because I drill the holes a little differently between the 5v and vv models.

The white box mods are pretty cool because I install the LED inside the box, so it kinda glows. The color changing one is quite wild. It alternates between the colors of blue, pink, yellow, and purple I believe.

Here is a link to a video I made showing the different LED colors and different box mods in action.

‪LED Colors‬‏ - YouTube

I have black 3.7, 5v, and VV models built and ready for shipping. Just choose your LED color, pay the invoice I send tonight, and your mod is out the door by noon. They are available by themselves or as a complete kit.

Complete kits include the box mod, wall charger, (2) 14500 batteries, Boge carto, and a 3ml sample of KBV Rice Krispity Treat.

My prices and build quality are excellent.

3.7v mod $19 complete kit $36
5v mod $28 complete kit $46
Variable Voltage mod $38 complete kit $56

I also sell spare sets of (2) 14500 protected batteries for $10

Shipping is $5.25 and will include priority mail with tracking. PM me or email me at the email address listed on my website with which package you would like and I will send you payment instructions.

Cheers

Steve - someone made a post a week or so ago about their 3.7 shutting down and they thought it was the on/off switch. Not sure if it's related, but mine shuts down also. I ruled out the on/off switch because it only does it when I start fresh. Newly charged battery and a full carto is the only time it happens. I wipe the bottom of the carto, shut the switch off, spin the battery to make sure it's in right and then it fires every time.

I haven't narrowed down the cause, but guessing it might be a little juice on the threads that triggers the protection circuit. Go through my little ritual and it fires every time! I would be curious what you find after he sends it back.

I think that is Ciego. And I should be getting those in the next few days.

The master switch potentially gets the most abuse with the batterys being taken in and out, and being pushed against the spring so many times, and then there is the atty connector. Eventually the little rubber seal wears out between the positive pin, and the threads, and have seen them fail. Sometimes its a defect in the rubber grommet, or a soldering job that got it too hot. Sometimes its hard to tell.

Right now I offer no warranty, but have yet to refuse a single repair for free with exception of the shipping. And if they dont work soon after shipment you dont pay the shipping for the replacement. With exception of one 1 mod, I have shipped brand new mods rather than repairing them. As it stands, it would probably be little risk to offer a 6 month warranty on them, but for now, I choose to keep it subjective.

So if you are thinking of getting a mod from me, feel rest assured that I will stand behind them.

I have a similar problem, when I put in a fresh battery, it doesn't fire. However on mine the problem is the battery. I have 4 batts in rotation, and two of them do this and two work just fine. On the two that are a problem, it just takes spinning the batt, then it's good to go. Wierd.

I know what it is. When the battery has the protection circuit added, it causes a little bump on either end of the battery. If that bump is resting on the plastic that holds the positive terminal in place, that little bump keeps the positive nipple from making good contact with the terminal.

If you have a soldering iron, and feel there is tiny bit of room for this, take a small dab of solder and put it on the positive terminal to raise it up a little bit. You can do this by placing the box on end and carefully putting a completely hot 40w soldering iron tip on the terminal and melting a little solder. hold the soldering tip there until the solder blob flattens out (this will happen once its heated hot enough, about 4 or 5 seconds is all)

If it really bugs you and you dont have an iron, you can send them back and I will gladly do that.

to know for sure if that is what it is, next time you have it happen, see if you can shove a tiny piece of foil between the battery and terminal at the positive nipple, and see if you can get it to fire without spinning the battery. If you can fire it, the batt is just not making contact. You can sometimes see the hairline gap with a good set of eyes. Just one theory.

Heck, it could also be the batteries.

Steve

Not a big enough of a problem for me to mess with, just spin a little and go. Or now that I know, just make sure the battery is in a good position before snapping it in.
Edit: Just looked at the two batts that are a problem, and there is a difference in those two compared to the two that aren't a problem.

I checked out cigar mans site for that carto cleaner. I work in a hospital so those materials were readily available. Made my own cleaner and utilized the vodka option. Although the cartos work fine, no loss of vapor, and flavor seems not really affected, I feel that it somehow affected the draw. Perhaps not. Might just be me. But it seems that I need to draw longer and slightly harder to achieve initial satisfaction I received with new cartos. This means I will end up buying new cartos as replacements as I am just picky. money will ever remain a factor in these cases. I think I read that a new carto last what, about 3 or 4 weeks? (or was that wishful thinking).

I usually get 7-10 days out of a 2Ω carto. Seems the 3Ω on the 5v lasts a little longer.

I love the look of those drip tips! Shiny. I have been keeping the condoms on my cartos to preserve wetness. But seeing as I drip each flavor once to twice each day, It might not be necessary to go there. I carry all my pre filled cartos with me (2 extra), in case I want to change flavor on the fly (which I do often). I need to find a nifty pouch to carry them in to protect my slacks from staining if they run any with the drip tips. More ritual, yeah, love it!

Hey Lars, just pick youself up some small ziplock bags at the craft store. They may just have the size you need for a carto with drip tip on it. Another thing that would work is a small candy container like a mini M&Ms container. Back in the day we used to stash all sorts of things in those :p

Geesh, you'd hate to get a little stain down there....

Good afternoon FoxyBoxModders. Hope that everyone is enjoying the wonderful mods that Steve makes. Have a great vaping day all. If you don't have one, isn't it time you purchase a carefully, durable, custom mod???? Christmas is coming, get your shopping done NOW!!!! It will be here before you know it.
