bringing pic with me....
As I mentioned, I used butcher block oil, but there may be other things you could use on these. We tried a little vaseline on one and it was beautiful, plue, it is odorless and tasteless.

Here are the photos. I will be selling all of these for $15 each. Shipping will be $2 no matter how many you purchase. All of the wood was collected by my woodworking friend (Art). The ones on the left are made from spalted oak, then there are the redish colored ones that are manzanita. There is one that is myrtle (the super blonde one) and then black walnut to the far right.

The cartomizer in the photo is a boge, standard length carto.

We will also be working on more of these, so if the one you like sells, just let me know which style and which wood you prefer.

Starting from the left as #1, and far right is #10.

#1, #5, #6, and #9 are still available. I will take a new photo tomorrow and show the ones that are still available.

From Left to right, #6 and #9 are the only ones still for sale. We will be bringing more to market this coming week :)

Wassup ECF?

Working on a few mods tonight. I am out of VV and 5vv, and am working on filling orders of those tonight. Once I have them built tomorrow, I will let you know my inventory at that time.

I also have 3.7v mods ready to ship, with a blue, green, or purple LED.

I'm back from vacation...finally. When I got back I had a great surprise waiting. A 2x18650, variable voltage Foxy box! This box is fantastic. It is everything the 2x14500 box is but has the big 18650 batts. This is a perfect set up for me as I am sometimes at work for 12 to 14 hours and this Foxy box rox for 18 hours plus. I'm talking serious boom chicka wow wow for hours. ....
Bo

You got a pic of this beast anyplace??

I think he posted it sometime back. You may be able to search the posts.

Let me see if I can find it.

It looks just like this one: (the one on the far left. the other two are (3) AA boxes
That was one of a kind and I likely would not do one again. I will be offering a vv using (2) 18340s. I build a 5v right now using those.

Hey everyone, I have a favor.

I have a potential customer that uses an ego with an LR atty.

They want to know if they will notice a big difference between a 5v box mod, or vv box mod compared to their ego with LR atty.

Can you all respond with this comparison if you own a 5v or vv box mod from me.

Thanks all!

I know, a really old post but I didn't see an answer.

Short answer 'heck yea!'

This is gonna hurt my head. It's high school algebra and USAF electronics school from 1972... but I wanna see if I can still do it.

It's all about the PIE (P=I*E, not a superb KBV or BlueMist juice), ohms law, E = I * R or I = E / R. The device makes no difference as long as it puts out the right voltage and will allow the current draw needed (battery limited usually).

All my eGo batts come off the charger at ~3.45v. About the lowest you can go on an eGo is 1.8ohms, most folks using an eGo LR are talking 2.0 ohms. Let's assume ur customer is using a 2.0 ohm atty and his batt is putting out 3.4 volts. So they are drawing I = E / R = 3.4 / 2.0 or 1.7 amps. That means they're burning P = I * E = 1.7A * 3.4v = 5.78 watts.

6.6 watts is about the most u can consistantly and safely draw on an eGo using a 1.8ohm. My Joye batts will take it, my off brand will not.

So let's up the ante a wee bit and say they are burning 6.1 watts by using a 1.9 ohm atty (and the batteries will have to be pretty fresh of the charger to get to this).

To get 6.1 watts on any 5v device u only need to pull 1.22 amps.

And finally the answer... Throw a 4 ohm atty on your 5v device and you're pulling 1.25 amps or 6.25 watts or slightly more than our hypothetical customer is pulling on his eGo with a 1.9 ohm atty and getting pretty close to the max any standard eGo can do.

As ya'll know 4 ohms on a 5v regulated device is a walk in the park and lower isn't much of a stretch still using protected batteries. I use 2.9 ~ 4.0 ohm cartos regularly and 2.8 ~ 3.0 ohm atties for dripping on it.

Heck, I can tell the diff between my eGo and the 3.7v box. I've got a tank on the box now with a dual coil 1.6ohm carto in it (think it's filled with used Castrol 20w-50... or at least that's what it looks like but might be OMG).

Because a 3.7v box mod batt will safely allow more current draw (amperage) and runs at a higher voltage than an eGo you can actually burn more watts on a 3.7v FBM than you'll safely get away with on an eGo.

I know somebody is gonna tell me they run 1.5ohm atties on their eGo w/o problems. What can I say. You're living on the edge and I wouldn't expect a long batt life with that set up... also pray the overload circuit on the battery works and just shuts it off when it decides it's had 'nuff. The alternatives are ugly.

If you can charge 14500s or 18650s, then yes. I am not familiar with that charger.

Check out the madvapes site. they show some multichargers, and list which batteries it will charge. Most mulitchargers for Li Ion batts will charge the 18350s

Can I charge them in my TR-001?
