I'm seeking advice from all of you vv box users. I currently use tanks on my vv FBM and am curious as to what ohm cartos you use that work in the 4-5.5volt range, either dual or single coil.

I have dual coil shorties that I think are 1.5 and can't really go above 4 volts. I tried using resurrectors in my bigger tank but they kept blowing out. Is 2.0ohm the best for getting range or should I use something higher?

What do you use in your tanks?

I use a standard resistance 2.8- 3.0ohm dual coil carto in my VV FBM

I use a 5V (no VV), but have been using 3.2 Smoktech's (have also used 3.0 Boge's, but the Smoktech's have been wicking better for me in the tanks, YMMV). I'm also using 2.0 DC's in my taller tanks at 5V, but the 2.5 DC's work just as well, and may be a better fit going towards 5.5V.

Haven't tried any dual coils towards the 4V range, but if you go lower in voltage, I did see a 2.5 ohm single coil somewhere, just can't remember where. Trying to find it.

I don't think I will have any new ones until after the 1st of the year. But I have two real nice wood mods for sale. If you want to see them #2 and #5 are still for sale. They are pictured a few pages back in my thread.

Well, I ended up taking 2nd place in my bowling tournament yesterday.

Congrats on the second place finish in your bowling tournament. Next one I expect a 300!

Not bad bowling there, Godzilla .. congrats!

Here's the breakdown of what I use:

5volts - 2.5 ohm or higher, mostly 3.0 boges, but sometimes a 2.5 ohm dual (clear or stainless)
4.2-4.8volts - a 1.7 to 2.0 ohm clear dual or 2.0 boge
3.7 volts - a 1.5 ohm to 1.7 ohm dual clear carto.

I love the clear duals because they show me when to add juice. I vape so many different PVs at the same time, it's impossible to keep track of when I added juice to the carto, so being able to see the juice really helps.

Cleo - the 1.5 clear dual coils are also my favorite for what you mentioned and also cleaning. Just hold them under running water until they're white again. My only problem is keeping them in one piece. They keep wanting to come apart. Have you found a fix for that yet? I gave some thought to a little glue, but not sure if it might give off fumes I don't want when it gets warm.

Higbe33 -

I had problems with them coming apart at first, then I realized I needed to be extra gentle screwing them in and taking them off ... don't seem to have that problem much anymore. However, GV sells mod glue that is supposed to be safe to ingest, and I bought some to try but I haven't gotten around to it yet. (Haven't torn one up since I bought it.) You can check it out here: GotVapes EcoMod Glue 6ml [gv-ecomodglue-6ml] - $1.99 Unfortunately it's currently sold out, but you can get on the notify list for when it comes back in stock.

They do clean easily, which I love. Like you said, running hot water through til they are white again and then just letting them dry for a few days. I don't know how long they last, I'm still using some of the first ones I bought! Six or seven cleanings so far.

Alright, I am back to work today making mods. Spent the weekend with family, but have been monitoring emails and PMs, and have been trying to respond with the limited cell coverage. My new 4s was a gift from my sister, and it really came in handy. I finally feel I can be away from the computer.

Anyway, I will update everyone on invenory tomorrow.

I have plenty of 3.7v feeders, and Foxy Custom 5v in lots of colors still for sale.

Cheers

Foxy Woods #'s 2 and 5 will be yours. My guess it will be in your mailbox on Thursday or Friday.

I am shipping your mods tonight before the PO closes. I will send you tracking tonight when I get back.

And wait until you try the Kick Bass Vapor Gooey Better Cake :)P
Cheers

Steve

I have Bowling tonight and will check PMs and emails after that.

I wanted to post a photo of a real nice bottom feeder that sold today. It really came out nice.

Other than the bright orange one in the second photo below, all are available as either 5v mods, or as 3.7v juice feeders. There is about a 3 day lead time for shipping upon ordering. The 5v takes (2) 18350 batteries, for a total of 2200 mah. The 3.7v feeders take (1) 18650 battery. With the feeders I also include 3 bottles, 2 hoses, a couple of high power magnets as spacers, and 5ml of Kick Bass Vapor Gooey Better Cake. The 5v sells for $75 The bottom feeder sells for $90. These fit in the hand very nicely. They are as small as they could possibly be considering what goes inside them.
