Quality battery side connectors

I have used several different types of connectors for mods and only one has held up. The 510 extension from madvapes with the nut (if I replace the insulator with a better one). That one is great but all of the others I have used, the threads wear out after about a month or two of continuous abuse.

Does anyone have suggestions for a quality connector that will stand up to the test of time? or am I stuck with the expensive ones....

So far the threading adapters re-purposed as connectors seem to be the best quality. $$$ But hard to mount.

I was going to get some made from SS but then re-thought that when I realized it wouldn't solder very well

I always purchase these connectors at heaven-gifts.com. They are usual Joye connectors, with silicone insulator etc. No problems with them yet.

They're all brass and they all wear out for me too, even the ones with nuts. Though you can get them cheap on eBay from tehmobius, but looks like he's out of them again. I'm hoping I can someday get the ones with nuts made out of stainless steel, but with the nut and post made out of brass (for soldering). I've never had any issue with the insulators. What's the problem with those?

The extension I am using as a connector had the clear silicone insulator which over time deteriorates faster than the others from excessively tightening my SGV3's for stability. I think my biggest issue is the size and weight of my Genesis mods. those connectors just can't stand up to the abuse from that kind of weight.

Maybe I will have my uncle machine me some SS bodies and some brass nuts and use carto center post's and insulators. I have my negative currently soldered to the nut so that is not a bad idea. I could even have them made up in Emachine shop but with the order size I would need to make I would probably need to run a co-op as 200 or more would need to be made to make it worth while. I did a rough draft of one in e-machine shop a while back and if I remember correctly it was about $3 for the body and $2 for the nut at a volume of 200. I would have to re-fresh my drawings and re-run the job. Maybe a little more because I don't think I had the threading in my rough draft.

I know I really like the connector on the G-Tank-US and have been wondering how to implement that into my SGV3's but the CE2 connectors seem to be holding up fairly well.

Oh okay, I just use a plain ol' cartomzier so I never put much stress on them. Some hard rubber insulators would do you well.

I'm all for a co-op. I'm in if you ever do it.
