*Had some weirdness going on while writing this. I'll color code the topics.*
So, for the past week or so. I've enjoyed the vaping experience I been having with my 6ml DCT and LR carto, both by smok Tech. Until... Until my eGo battery died and I had to resort to my backup.
The backup?
A gutted Smokeless Image carto and a manual Volt battery. Popped out a freshly cleaned one, haven't tried a fresh one.
How'd it go? Let's remember the eGo battery is a standard 3.7v and the smok Tech carto is .... ---
Okay that's weird. I went to double check the resistance on the carto in my tank. I swear it was 1.7ohms. But it just checked out at 3.3 +/- .2 *facepalm* I checked the other carto out of the same exact pack of cartos. 1.7ohms.
Going back to what I was saying. When I dripped into the gutted SI Carto, the vape was warm and flavorful, not as amazing as the LR carto, however, it was better than how my tank/carto currently performs. That led to me believe, the carto is getting clogged up, doubtful it's dying yet... Still flavorful, just not as great performing as before.
This leads me to two questions:
Why don't they make a tank setup without a wick... Just full on Metal to liquid contact? It seems that when the liquid is burnt directly, it just works perfect. But once gunk starts to build up and get stuck all over the wick and filler, it just starts to decrease performance.
Lastly, do resistances change based on usage and life of the atomizer? I find that really weird that my carto went to standard resistance...
