kgo not working w 3.5 tank and cartos from crystal clear vaping

I bought the 510 SMOK-TECH XL 1.7ohm RESURRECTORS and the 3.5mL SMOKED BLACK DELRIN DCT from crystal clear vaping.

I had been using the 510 SMOK-TECH C.C.V. XL LR 1.7ohm STAINLESS STEEL (THE RESURRECTOR) on my kgo batteries for quite awhile now with no problems.

With the new carto/tank as soon as i put it on a fully charged kgo battery it reads as dead with the flashing lights of doom and then does nothing. If I put a regular (no holes punched) carto in there it works great.

The new carto/tank does work fine on the FS ego.

Not sure whats going on here and would appreciate any advice! thanks!

did you check the resistance on the carto to verify its at 1.7 ish? It can be bad, meaning its at 1.2 ish and still work on the ego....if its the 3.3v one.

i did change out the one that it came with to a different one and same deal

Sounds to me like it's a connection problem caused by the post of the carto being too far in. Pbusardo just did a video called "Pull Your Post" that demonstrates how to fix this problem.

UPDATE: i had this same issue. thanks brent_mc for your post about the video. it worked. It appears that some KGO models are not sensitive enough for some of the new carto tanks, so you have "pull your post" on the carto. it's really easy if you have a really small flat head screw driver.

Another thing to check, you want to make sure that your tank is not too close the top of your battery connection. With tanks sometimes if they are too snugly butted up there is not enough airflow and your batter will not fire up. I guess its better than it firing up and heating up. Try pushing your carto down a tad so you have some space between the bottom of tank and top of your mod. I hope that helps.
