What's the pv classified as in quebec? Is it illegal to buy/sell nic-juice in quebec or posess? I really dint wanna be stopped at the border again for stupid stuff. So if I'm driving in, is it better to order from CDN VAPOR and have it delivered to a friend up there or can I drive in without a problem if I just don't tell border patrol that I have it? What happens if they search and find it.

I really don't think I could last a weekend without it.

Oh and the energy drink thing bothers the crap outta me. How is a guy supposed to get his buzz on?

There's no law against owning a PV or nicotine juice in Canada.

Cutoms, however, under the direction of Health Canada, have been told not to allow any importation of nic juice. However, you are not "importing" it. It is for your own personal use. Foreigners visiting Canada can bring in nicotine for their own personal use. Moreover, there are no restrictions on ecigs (as in the hardware) besides some technicalities such as making therapeutic claims etc etc.

Health Canada regulates the sale of nicotine, so selling it within Canada is a grey area.

Any foreign visitors that are living or staying is allowed to bring,own or have e-cigs and all related items shipped here as they are in their own country so you should have no problem at all. Besides that I wouldn't worry about it anyway as it's not something I can see them wasting their time on.

Tell that to the ....... who kept me detained for 2 hrs while they took everything out of my car and searched fit drugs using dogs cause I told him I had a hookah and shisha in the car. "SHISHA! WHERE I COME FROM, THAT'S WHAT THE CALL CRACK!" Made me learn real quick not to talk too much at the border.

I dunno, I had a hard time getting energy drinks. Some girl, I dunno if she was lying or not, told me there was some law regarding them. I drink at least 2-3 of those per day.

What the hell is a hookah and a shisha? Not sure why you're having any problem finding energy drinks, there's a pusher on every street corner for that, aka stores

shisha = molasses tobaco or molasses legal herbs smoked/vaped(using a charcoal heating source) in the hookah

Has anyone successfully crossed the border with nic juice?

I have a US address not too far from the border and I usually have my Amazon orders shipped there and just pay the duties.

Now if I were to order some nic juice and other "paraphernalia" should I declare it or just keep my mouth shut and hope for the best? I figure if I declare some beer and other Amazon orders they won't be suspicious enough to search my whole car right?

If you declare it, they will confiscate it.

They can't, or shouldn't confiscate it provided you tell them you bought it in Canada and have had it with you during your whole trip. They can only control importation, and it's not an import if you had it with you before you left for the States (nothing to declare in that case). They might not care and take it anyways though. Even with hardware you're taking a risk because they just aren't well educated on the matter. Seems to me Health Canada has issued a directive that is very vague and many border/customs agents seem to think it's illegal to import the hardware. They can only confiscate the nic juice, but it's not like they're gonna take your word on it.

I used to do that until recently :-( It is up to you if you want to try to sneak some juice in.

Definitely does sound a bit risky, I would be more upset if I got "flagged" than having my liquid confiscated. I think I'll just stock up on e-liquid now from the few remaining places that sell it in Canada instead.

I always try to order from Canadian vendors to support them, but if I need something from the US, UK or China, I always have it shipped to my US address and pick it up. I'm not willing to wait the extra time and pay higher shipping costs to get it here, IF it gets here at all!

Health Canada is playing an unfair game with my health, and their "rules" are unreasonable and go against my right to choose e-cigs over real cigs. So, I take my items out of the shipping packaging and put them away, and simply state that I went to do some banking and postal business. I'd happily pay a higher price not to have to do that but as long as they're playing games, so will I.

Just comply peacefully with the authorities should you need to deal with them.

I've crossed the border with Nic liquid a few times. My understanding is that there are no laws against possessing it yourself. But if you're trying to import to sell, or importing it through the mail, you stand a chance to have it seized.

Well in my case it was 3 bottles of e-juice worth 50 bucks. Try to explain your understanding to the BO who has no clue even about nicotine and stuff in ejuice and just enforces new Health Canada law on you. Just because no matter what you have there is red flagged as e-cigs by Health canada.
