My first RDA should be here tomorrow. I ordered a Quasar because I heard good things about them. I have experience with Kayfuns and Russians but none with RDAs. The reason I got one is because I like the idea of being able to vape a few drops of one liquid and then switching to another when I get bored. My question is can I do that with cotton. It seems like cotton would retain the flavor of the previous juice. I would love to be able to switch between a bunch of different juices while i'm vaping and i'm just wondering if you can do that with cotton or if i need silica or something else. If I do use cotton do I need to recoil when I change juices or if I vape long enough will i burn through all the juice and can then just drip a new juice without tasting both flavors. Thanks

depending on the previous flavor you can just redrip over lighter flavors but going from stronger to lighter wont always work well. When i'm testing flavors I typically put just a small strand of cotton, enough to just slightly stick out of each side. once I want to change flavors I simply put the cotton out and stick a new small piece into the coil.

yup, I pull the cotton out, dry burn put some new cotton presto... when im testing flavors I don't even use that much, just about half an inch. I have to admit, if I like the flavor i'll throw some silica in there, im one of the 5 people on the planet that don't like cotton...

here's my quasar:

Cotton is funny. It holds a lot of juice that never seems to see the coil. I will get a horrible dry hit, open up the atomizer and see a lot of juice still in the cotton cloud. The area around the coil is dry. It seems like the liquid at the top of the cloud is getting vaped up, but most of the stuff at the bottom doesn't. Anyway, I just vape til it gets dry and add the new flavor. Even with fairly strong flavors it has worked fine for me, very little flavor creep.
