Question about 14500 uses?

Ok, I recently received 2 Trustfire 14500 unprotected batts from a vendor instead of the protected batts I was supposed to get. Whilst they apparently are correcting the issue, they've not asked for me to send the wrong batts back. If they don't, my question is this:

What else can these batts be used for since I'm obviously NEVER gonna use them for vaping? I hate to see 2 batts laying around going unused.

Some believe the built in low voltage cutoff in the 905 is adequate.
They could be used in the 905, or a mod that had some type of low voltage cutoff and short circuit protection using one of the little circuit boards from a protected battery.
Overcharge is usually handled by the charger but redndancy wouldn't hurt.

Any other suggestions on one of these mods? The 905 holds no interest to me, but it makes me sad seeing these "wasted" batts, especially since ATM they are paid for.

Keep an eye on PIF then. If they don't ask for them back, I just may offer them up.......

Blaze, eventually one of the protected cells will lose capacity, not hold a charge, covering get damaged. They have a protection board. They can be purchased, but for just a little more you could buy a whole new battery.
