hmm.. I'm not sure

I just ordered a drip shield/ drip atomizer from Electronic Cigarettes and E liquid, welcome to SmartVapes

didnt know i needed an adapter so really can't even use it yet .. check out the ones they have.. they don't have the 2 options like the link above and are less money?? not sure what the difference is but I'm curious to know too.

here's the exact link: Connectors Extensions

The one you're looking at doesn't provide the choice of sealed or unsealed. They just offer sealed.

I really wanted this atomizer from SmartVapes, but they've been out of it like forever. Then, I noticed that AvidVapers had a 2 for 1 special on something that looks pretty close. http://www.avidvaper.com/cisco-sr306-atomizer-drip-tip-special/

It doesn't look bridgeless though and most people seem to think bridgeless is better. But, I'm pretty much of a noob on these, so I'm not even sure if this is a good one to get.

Open post for normal draw of the atty. Worst case scenario, you get 1 drop of juice on your connector.
Sealed post works, but the atty will produce a lot less vapour and the draw will be stiffer.
Hopefully, it's an empire drip shield you ordered, as the chinese copies are utter crap and you bearly get any airflow.
Btw, i'm not a fan of airy draws and most of the times i consider drip shields just a looks improvement or a 901-must-have-accessory.

For certain you'll find many uses for a 510-510 , so you can order one sealed one unsealed anyway.

As a relatively new dripper myself, I prefer the bridged atomizers. It is much easier to flood the atomizer if the bridge is removed, and you'll likely have a much less frustrating experience if you start with a bridged atomizer.

I also don't recommend the 306. It could be the 2 I got were a bad batch, but the draw is incredibly stiff on them to the point of being unusable. But I did get mine from a different vendor. And like everything in vaping, everyone has their own idea of what's best.
