Well that certainly assures there's a good atomizer/cart connection. How do they vape?

Lu

it's the same vape i think,it just kinda feels wrong...
topping the cart needs only a drop or two. anything more is just pure fluid into the atomizer like dripping, cause the cart material does not expand back and the fluid is over the cart-material-level.
it is always 5mm pushed in.

well you could look towards the cart end that screws into the atomizer. If its pretty standard flush shape, with no extra bumps or tapers near the cart/atomizer thread ends, then you could assume the carts are identicle in shape.
Even if the mouth piece is rubber and not plastic.

Its not a perfect comparison(or even any kind of comparison) but you can make a pretty educated guess by looking at your current cart.

If nothing in the cart is causing the problem then its obviously that 801 atomizer model/brand with its larger hump towards the cart end, that pushes and compacts the cart material .

i received some genuine 801 atomizer, and the inner metallic part that touches the cartridge is bigger than i was used to, pushing the cart material inside the cart much more than usual....

are there any pros or cons with this design?
are the new carts different maybe? i have only old ones.

Parapo--The 801 atomizer has a smaller diameter for the cartridge then the RN4072. If you get a tight fit–you have an 801–no matter what they want to call it. If the fit is looser–you are dealing with an RN4072—and do not buy cartridges from Johnson Creek. JC’s Blank Cartridges are in fact made for an 801 and will fall right out of an RN4072. For the RN4072–Puresmoker’s Blanks are make for them, but can be squeezed (with some good effort) into an 801–hope that helps my friend as I learned this the hard way!!—Sun

So if I'm getting the black RN 4072 atomizers from wayne will they work with 801 carts well, or would I have a similar problem as Parapo when using the RN black atomizer with 801 cart?
(Reverse situation as Parapo has 801atomizer/rn cart)

If there would be a problem, I should stick to 801 carts and only 801 atomizers from a site besides waynes (I want black not white)

I was hoping both 801 and RN atomizers would work well with no problems.

Hmm I received a new penstyle atomizer and battery from VaporNine yesterday and I notice too that the atomizer itself, as well as the positive contact(on the threaded side) is larger than the penstyle atomizers I have purchased from Puresmoker. It vapes like a champ, but for some reason when I put it on my usb pass-through or the battery it came with, I inhale, and it kicks off the atomizer, but when i stop inhaling, it keeps burning until it hits the cutoff. But when I use my other batteries from PS, it doesn't have that problem...How weird is that?

Frubbish--see your other post--Sun

Phalse--If you are switching to an RN4072 --your cartridges for your 801 are going to be loose. You will need to order some from Steve or use the soldering Iorn/ needle method to correct the problem---Sun

I see, thank you thats very important to know.
There is another thread about atomizers at ruyan direct for RN-black$6.50/801-white$5.50 then east mall 801-black$9.

Perhaps the reason east mall sells them for 9 and ruyan sells for 6.50 is the east mall atomizers are 801 black while ruyandirect only has 801s in white....

I have found no other "cheap" seller in china for 801 atomizers. Some chinese sellers have other models but not 801's for cheap, those are the only two stores to pick from.

Sun or anyone who knows, so I'm guessing if you use 4072 carts with 801 atomizers you will have a "tight fit" ?
801 carts with 4072 will have a "loose fit"

Great, I finally am getting a grasp of the model/brand differences!

Mostly thanks to your answers (about 60% you) :)

Oh wow, I just checked bestecig.com
Their prices are real good and the selection is amazing!

Seems like their BE112 is the pen style, this is why I skiped over the site last time someone linked me. I didnt see 801 on the left menu, only BE112.

Trying to pick one offshore supplier for myself.
If I picked bestecig.com, I would get both their atomizers and carts so my question wouldnt matter.
I was asking this next question in case anyone else wanted to know or in case I do buy from multiple suppliers to try out both 801 and RN atomizer/cart combinations.

Bestecig.com says penstyle standard atomizer fits (801,RN,v8,ect) but does not list if the atomizer 801 or RN.
Do you know if the BE112 E-Cigarette Atomizer-5x listed on bestecig.com is actually an 801 or an RN?

If the BE112 at ecig.com are 801's, where do you even find RN cart's?
(if someone wanted a RN atomizer + RN cart combination)
All the carts I see are either listed as 801 or not listed.

Phalse--Best sells the 801--very nice atomizer--nice draw and does not cook the juice like the RN4072--takes 801 catridges----Sun
