Wow. That's odd. Geekvape is a good company and the Solo is a good mod. Most definitely contact Geekvape and ask for a replacement under warranty. Also, tell them about those stripped threads on your other mod--this shouldn't be happening, unless you're particularly brutal with your mods.
Not brutal at all! Haha! It's just old. It's been through many a battery change.

Do you only own one working mod right now? I'd like to know what happens on a different mod. Take it back to your vendor and ask them for help. I assume your charger is OK and is really charging your batteries properly.
I did manage to get the battery cap on the other Solo with a little force and it's working perfectly. I did email Geekvape about the problem with the new Solo but, from what I've heard, they ask that you return it to the vendor first? Is this correct?

Edited for spelling.

Yes. Plus it's likely more convenient for you anyway not to mention that you would have to pay shipping to china which would likely cost you over $20.

I don't know about Geekvape policy, but many companies will ask for a video first. If it can be established that the mod is still under warranty and clearly malfunctioning, many will just send you a replacement. They know how expensive return shipping to China is. And even if they ask you to send it back, they may reimburse you your shipping cost if they determine that the mod is indeed defective. Some have warehouses in the USA.

My advice is to first take it back to the vendor and let them handle it. If they won't cooperate, contact Geekvape directly and also open a thread in their forum here and ask for help.

    Geekvape

    Good luck.

I am now 100% convinced that it's the mod. I threw the fully charged Molicel into the mod and am only vaping at 45w and the battery indicator shows the battery is at around 50%. I've only taken about 15 hits off of it.
Put the battery in a different mod and see what happens.
