Got a new mini 18490
I have been using a TrustFire TR-001
Its a cheep model . about $11
It works great and charges like it should

Would I benifit by getting one thats more expensive ( I need one for another location)

Thanks in advance :)

I have a coouple of TR-001s but bought this for multiple size and number of batts and no need for spacers. Xstar wasn't out then but I fine with this.

I'll chime in because I have the exact same charger you have. I didn't really like those springs/sliders and figured they would probably give out at some point. I still have it and it still works but I upgraded to this:

Battery Chargers : Pila IBC Charger

It's more expensive, but it comes with the correct spacers you need (you might not need any spacers--my 18650s don't) and it charges at least twice as fast and you don't have to use such violent force to put your batteries in and take them out. With the TR-001 sometimes I would take my battery out after it was fully charged and it would go flying across the room and get lost under something! HA!

It's up to you but I still have both and they both still work but I'm glad I got the Pila. The TR-001 is now tucked away in a cabinet.

If you get one from RTD don't forget the 5% off deal. I think it's ECF05 or something similar to that...
