Hi and welcome to the board. In general, no, it will not. There is a "sweet spot" on all tanks where the power you're running, the coil you've installed, your juice and the airflow all combine to make the densest possible vapor the rig will produce. It is possible this will be somewhat-- usually not a lot-- less than full open. I don't have the machine, but if I read the website right, there is a three-step voltage selection. Make sure you are running on the highest possible voltage to increase vapor, while being aware this increases juice consumption and shortens coil life. Try increasing the VG percentage in your juice, but carefully as Protanks are notorious for refusing to wick if you get too high. Assuming the "Protank" on your machine is a Kanger Protank-- it look like one-- you should be able to get a 1.5Ω coil for it. I don't know if your machine will fire it; it may be limited to the 1.8Ω coils it comes with. But if it works, this should help with cloud as well.

Actually, "Protank" is the key word. The Protank is a nice little MTL tank, if not aimed at the high end of the market. I used them a lot back in my MTL days. But they are not really designed for big, dense clouds. You're going to have to go direct lung and subohm for that. Maybe you don't want a room-fogger. Many people don't. I think most vapers use MTL gear, if you count all the bazillions of $10 sets sold at gas stations. But for big clouds, you need more power than a pen can produce.

In general, closing off your airflow will reduce in less vape, or no vape. When I accidentally hold my finger over my airhole adjustment pin in my tank, I get NO vape. Generally, if you want an airier, cloudier vape, you're going to want to have your airholes wide open, and wattage up. But if you are using a MTL tank, I doubt that you will get the clouds you may be searching for... For that, you will want a sub0hm coil (below 1.0, sometimes severely below 1.0, LOL) and that may mean a new setup is in order. There are some headaches that may come with that, but if you are looking to compete with the clouds in the sky, that is probably what you will need.

Best of luck!

Anna
