I need more information, your description is very sketchy.
Maybe a link to the post that you are referencing would help me to understand.
The only bottom feeder I know of that has a metal feed tube is the older Phidias, all of the newer ones now have plastic tubing that slides onto a nipple on the hollow center contact of the atomizer connector. The REOs also use this same plastic tubing setup. I do not know how you got the idea that feed tubing may have to be soldered to anything.

Yeah, description is shady. I think he means the center post. If you do, then yes, it can be removable but it would then have to be screwed into the tank itself. When you get into that, then you have to either attach a metal grommet on there with threads and that that screws to your centerpost or you can just thread the tank itself but that will lower the durability.

OR you could just buy a E1-V mini tank clearomizer or a Vivi Nova (mini or regular size depending on your mod) for much less money that the time invested.

Also, bottom feeders kind of suck, no offense. They get dry hits which is majorly contrary to common sense since they are literally drowning in juice. Go with a top feeder CE style. That's my best advice.

Also I hope you know what you're doing because batteries can be dangerous if not treated properly. Also I hope you're not using solder with lead in it.

Recommend you get your posts up in the newbie forum and take your question over to the mods forum.

Um, huh? In my admittedly limited experience with bottom feeders, I never had that problem. Takes a little to learn how to feed, but after that no dry hits to be had...

I think the OP is thinking more along the lines of something like this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/95728-tutorial-juicebox-around-8-a.html
