Hi guys im new to the forum and Hookah pens i tried posting in the techincal section didn't have an option so i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats wrong like sometimes when i use my hookah pen it taste burnt so i wait a couple of minutes or i clean out my cartomizer and its fine but now everything just taste burnt. I cleaned the cartomizer, put a new coil, emptied out my tank, clean it with water and let it dry and still taste burnt. I have the kanger evod starter kit.

Did you make sure to saturate the wick before firing it once you replaced the coil?
saturate it in? i was never told to saturate it in anything just put the flavor i want and smoke away
oh yea after i put everything in i went to the gym and let it sit in there with the e-liquid for about an hour
Do you know the PG/VG Ratio of your nic juice, perhaps it is too thick to wick well.
Try also doing a couple unpowered primer puffs before actually firing the atty up. Sometimes, especially with thicker juices, air bubbles get trapped in the coil chamber and doesn't allow juice to wick in properly, especially after an initial fill or top off of the tank. Another tip is to gently blow into the mouth piece, not hard, just enough to force 2 or 3 bubbles to climb up the tank to create a little pressure and then do the couple cold primer puffs. Still getting dry burns, look into removing a single flavor wick for that particular juice from the head, plenty of ytube videos that show this, and fluff up the exposed wick ends when the coil head is fully reassembled.
i'll try that with the next batch but i do notice that when i use it for an hour or so the liquid gets dark brown instead of clear or having a yellow tint
