Hey all,

I'm having problems with my cartos and I want to see if you guys can help. I'm using a SR Boge punched carto (2 tiny punches) with a ton my zmax and I don't know why I keep getting that nasty taste when it's like it burning the filament inside. I make sure I flood the carto but after a few hits I take off my tip and see that all the juice at the top is gone.

With my previous ones, I had the same problem on and off. Is it the carto itself or...?

any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

I tilt the cart and drip around 32 drop of liquid. rotate the cart a little after each drip. then place the cart in the tank and fill it about 3/4 full. let it stand vertical for 15 minutes and its ready to go. sounds like you're over filling the cart. also start you volts at a low setting. I start a new cart at 4.2 and after an hour of break in time move it up to 4.8 or so. that's on a dual coil 2.0 ohm cart. good luck

What juice are you using? If it's high VG you may need larger holes. I use the condom method, and after I stick the condom on (the threaded end), I pull the carto back out and push it in again a few times (sounds bad, I know). I figure the pressure helps push the juice further into the filler material. Then I blow out excess juice (from the threaded end) onto a paper towel. I make sure I can see down the center of it. Then I stick it in the tank and fill all the way. Then I take a few primer puffs, and start using it right away. Like john suggested, start with a lower power or voltage and give it some time to break in. If the carto is still getting dry, take a few primer puffs every now and then. Be careful not to flood the carto, though.
