i just received 2 twist batteries. when i plug them into charge one the finger button glows while on the charger and the other battery the finger button does not light up while on the charger...does this mean anything is the light supposed to be on or off?

My finger button flashes like 5 times when connected but goes off and stays off while charging.
I think its a signal that means it is charging, but that is a guess.
Sometimes when it does not flash i will unscrew a turn and re-tighten and it will flash, thats what i do.

Jeffawe, the light on the usb cable will be red when it's charging and green when it's finished.

Mine both behave the same way. My charger also has a bi-color led to let you know when its charging (red) and full (green). I'm not sure if all chargers behave the same though.
yes i am using the usb cable and the wall adapter, it does flash 5 times but the light will turn back on and stay on while it is connected. i did notice that it only lasted 2 ml of vape today before it died. now when reconnected it to my vivi it seems to be working but havent tried it out other then a few puffs,,not sure if this is normal or if i should send it back since it is new
If it lasts 2 ml I think it's OK. Mine last about the same. I don't use the wall charger - just the usb cable into the computer, so might not be the same thing.
What size battery do you have? I have the 1000mAh ego twists and they can usually get me through 5 ml or so (1.5 days usually).
I'm having the same problem with my new vision spinner. The white light blinks and stays on and after about four hours it cuts off but the red blinking light never seems to go green so I never really know when I'm fully charged or how long it should take… I guess the batteries are okay it's just unfortunate that there are a few little fallacies within the lot.
The vision spinner button light stays lit while charging. The first time I thought something was wrong so contacted the vendor. They said vision who makes the spinner changed it up a bit and it was okay. Mine has been working fine.
I have many egos also, some are twists some are not, all were bought from multiple vendors, what I have learned is that these batteries are knocked off by the boat-load every one I have has something sightly different than the others and some of them charge differently than others. And all Whatever MAHs are not created equal. Measuring battery life by the Milliliters vaped is also not a good indicator, there are too many variables. You]ll know when an Ego has gone bad or is not charging properly, micro chip has failed or is shorted out usually by the green light coming on very quickly,or not at all, and if you think its charged get a hit or two off it and then it blinks 7-10 times and wont hit again. I like the egos and I'm going to try and figure out a way to find away to buy original Joytech egos, at least I'll know some of them went through their quality control department.
