Question about charging Itaste vv

Do I have to let the battery completely run dead or is it fine to top up the charge when I notice the battery has about half a charge?

I just bought the Itaste today and the light right now is showing yellow, is it fine charging it with the pass through or better to let it run empty?

nope, charge it soon and often

if I can help it, mine never sees yellow...

li-ion likes to be charged and has no memory

when green light goes off, it's full charged...

Thank you for the help. One last quick question if possible. If the charging light turns off indicating it is fully charged, will it continue to over charge if not removed from the USB?

You need to remove it from the charger when it is done. Don't let it over charge. Bad for the battery.

I let mine run pretty low but I try not to let it completely die. It won't hurt it to top it off when needed. I plug mine in whenever I see it turn yellow. I did notice if your using the pass through function it and constantly vaping it that it won't charge nearly as fast though.

well as the story goes

it won't continue to charge (overcharge protection)

but the battery will try to start to discharge,
if it is plugged in a tug-o-war effect takes place

try to be charged

li-ion doesn't like to be held against a wall
it does strange stuff to the internal chemistry
which does damage, effects longevity...

at least that's the way I understand from things I've read

so you can see why you hear two schools of thoughts
"sure it's safe to leave it plugged in"
"no, it's not good to continue charging"
